UFC 108 fighter salaries and paydays for 'Evans vs Silva'

The official fighter purses for those who competed at UFC 108: "Evans vs. Silva" this past Saturday night (Jan. 2) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, were released earlier today by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
As expected, main event participant and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Rashad Evans was the big earner of the night. "Suga" came away with a sweet $375,000 for his unanimous decision win over Thiago Silva, who banked a respectable $55,000 in defeat.
Rising heavyweight star Junior dos Santos also had a big night, pulling in $60,000 for his crushing win over the hard-hitting Gilbert Yvel ($30,000). Not far behind him was the power-punching Paul Daley ($34,200), who knocked down both Dustin Hazelett ($19,800) and his fight purse after failing to make weight for their co-main event..
