Fotoverslag 13-03-2010: Almere VS The Rest 2010

Zaterdag 13 maart organiseerde Ropie van Ropie Gym alweer voor het derde opvolgende jaar ALMERE VS THE REST. Een gala in Almere waar de vechters van de sportscholen uit Almere in actie komen tegen vechters elders uit het land en soms ook tegen elkaar.

Hofleverancier zijn de drie sportscholen uit Almere: Ropie Gym, Seconds Out en Day's Gym. De vechters van deze sportscholen gaven acte de presence in alle mogelijke klassen van Jeugd tot en met A-Klasse. Hoofdpartij van de avond was een A-partij tussen Mari van Vos Gym tegen Lisanne de Ruiter van Day's Gym.

Het was weer een gezellig dagje in Almere waar veel vechters extra adrenaline leken te bezitten nu men in eigen woonplaats vocht. Dit vooral aangezwenkt door alle vrienden en familie die kwamen kijken. En dit gebeurde veelal zeer luidruchting waardoor het dak er soms af ging. In ieder geval kan de organisatie terugkeken op wederom een zeer geslaagd dagje kickboksen in Almere.

Meest opvallende vechter was voor deze dag Mootje el Messaoudi. Een kleine pitbull die vol overgave maar blijft komen om zijn tegenstander de ring uit te meppen.

De aanvang stond al vrij vroeg in de dag gepland om 14.00 uur maar dit werd toch iets vertraagt en begon wat later. Een geluk voor mij want kon zelf pas wat later aanwezig zijn ivm een al lopen de afspraak. Het gala was dan ook al even bezig toen ik binnenkwam en daardoor zijn de eerste partijen niet gefotograveerd.

Hieronder het fotoverslag in een matige fotoserie ivm het zeer slechte licht (er was een staandaard licht van de zaal en geen ringlicht) waarbij het wellicht beter was geweest om te gaan flitsen.
