M-1 Challenge veteran Chrisian M'Pumbu has signed a multi-fight agreement with DREAM and is expected to compete in the Japanese promotion's light-heavyweight tournament, which is set to begin May 30 at DREAM.15.

A source close to the fighter confirmed the deal with MMAjunkie.com (http://www.mixfight.nl/) (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com
(http://www.mmajunkie.com)) on Thursday.

M'Pumbu (15-2-1 MMA, 0-0 DREAM), a native of Champagne-Ardenne, France, is a regular on the European fight scene. He is currently riding a four-fight win streak with all four victories coming by way of knockout or TKO.

In his most recent performance, he defeated Yuji Sakuragi with strikes at DEEP 46 in February.

M'Pumbu is the fourth fighter added to the DREAM tournament and carries a notable victory over UFC veteran Stefan Struve in December 2007. Opening-round pairings have not been announced.

Earlier today, MMAjunkie.com reported (http://mmajunkie.com/news/18352/sokoudjou-joins-babalu-and-mousasi-in-dreams-light-heavyweight-grand-prix.mma) that Strikeforce veteran Renato "Babalu" Sobral signed with DREAM in anticipation of a tournament berth, in addition to Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi and veteran Rameau Thierry Sokodjou.

The promotion has yet to make a formal announcement on the light heavyweight tournament's location and number of fighters scheduled to participate. DREAM.15 is expected to air on HDNet in North America.
