Paulina groeide uit tot een sterke A-klasser, maar stopte wegens diverse privé-problemen op zijn 25ste. ,,Maar tien jaar later kwam ik Ben weer tegen en ben ik weer gaan thai-boksen. Ben heeft me toen als het ware voor de tweede keer weer op de rails gezet. Ik ben nu alweer drie jaar bezig en het gaat op dit moment prima. Ik hoop na aanstaande zondag weer A-klasser te zijn.'' Dan staat voor Paulina in de Apeldoornse sporthal Zuiderpark in de 75 kg-klasse een B-klassegevecht op de rol tegen Harald Roder. ,,Ik ken die jongen niet. Maar ik ga uit van mijn eigen kracht. Ik voel me prima, zowel fysiek als mentaal. De A-klasse moet ik zeker kunnen halen.''

Goede zaak, zelfs al A klasser geweest dus, voor de 2e x A klasser is hij toen niet geworden want ging tegen Harold Roder 2x neer in dezelfde ronde! Maar om nu weer C te draaien kan echt niet!







Begint met een onschuldige oproep op Mixfight en dan kom je hier achter...
Paulina is opgegeven als C klasser.
Partij is van de mm afgehaald.

Persoonlijk vindt ik dat belachelijk, als je al zoveel ervaring (partijen achter je heb staan).
Ik vindt dat 1 maal A vechter altijd A vechter. het gaat toch om de skills en ervaringen die je hebt opgedaan.
Ben je na een paar jaar niet vechten niet goed genoeg om gelijk weer een A partij te draaien ,
dan moet je in mijn optic door trainen tot je er wel weer klaar voor bent.

Misschien heel zwart/wit maar zo zie ik het

ja, dat is lastig, de een pakt het sneller op dan de ander.. maybe tegen ervaren b klasse vechters zetten.. jeetje... wie of welk orgaan gaat hierover?

Duidelijk verhaal Glen en een correcte keuze door te stellen dat de WMTA deze partij niet zal faciliteren voor de promotor.

Van de A naar de B terug na bv lang afwezigheid kan ik mij iets bij voorstellen, mits er overleg is met de bond en de tegenpartij. Maar van de A naar de B en vervolgens naar de C moet niet kunnen! Het schort helaas nog wel eens aan informatie over het aantal partijen, leeftijden etc en dat is erg jammer. De sport moet wel Fair blijven. Zo gebeurt het ook nog wel eens dat een A klasser bokser een N partij gaat kickboksen. Kan misschien wel maar dan wel in goed overleg met de tegenpartij.
