Siyar Bahadurzada signed a one year, 4 fight contract deal with Strikeforce. He will most likely be making his debut for the promotion in June against a yet to be named opponent.

Bahadurzada, nicknamed the "Afghan Killa", or "Kabul 187" is the reigning Shooto Light Heavyweight Champion and has a record of 16-4-1; his last fight was a decision win over Polish Robert Jocz (18-4-0). He is a teammate of Alistair Overeem at team Golden Glory, as well as a regular at the Affliction gym in southern california, and functioned as the main kickboxing sparring partner of "Muhammad Lawal" in preparation for his fight against Gegard Mousasi.
Bahadurzada, who grew up in the Netherlands, is known for his stalking kickboxing style and punishing Ground and Pound. He currently fights in the Middleweight (185) division.
