Afgezien van Parr's partij tegen Yodsaenklai is er zelf ook iemand die voor de derde keer op rij de strijd met de populaire Australier aan zal gaan! Niemand minder dan de onvolprezen nr II in de Australische MT scene, Bruce Macfie oftewel "The Preacher" zal op 11 september tegen JW "the Gunslinger" Parr vechten.

In Brisbane, waar de gala's worden gehouden verloor Macfie in 2005 tijdens het Evolution VI gala "Two Tribes Go To War!" en tijdens Evolution IX "Revenge or Repeat" op punten van Parr. Macfie baalde er behoorlijk van dat niet hij verder doordrong bij de Contender Asia dan Parr. Macfie werd in een eerder stadium uit de show gehaald door Yodsaenklai, terwijl Parr tot de finales doordrong en dus vind hij het tijd voor de ultimieme uitdaging!
