MPL team is happy to announce the signing of an extensive television distribution partnership, which will cover all regions of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The combined viewership audience for all networks airing MPL events will span across 120 countries. In connection with this development, MPL will not be airing the “Stars & Stripes” event on Eurosport network on October 20th, 2011. However, The MPL will be showing free “fight a day” segments on its Facebook page for the remainder of the week, to give supporters access to the event.
“We wanted to ensure that as many of our fans as possible would have the opportunity to view the MPL championship fights globally, and I believe we formed a great partnership with the signing of this agreement. We undoubtedly have our fans and fighters best interests in mind,” said Clifton Brown, CEO and President of MPL.
The details of the distribution and first networks will be announced this week.
