In a recent interview with The Score, Harry Smith has announced his involvement in MMA. The former WWE superstar, son of the "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith and nephew of Bret "The Hitman" Hart, said he was sparring with Dave Batista at Dave's gym. His wish is to continue this new career path and is hoping to sign a fight sometime next year.

This is no surprise as many wrestling stars are looking to mixed martial arts as a fresh source of competition. Harry joins the ranks of Brock Lesnar, Batista, Bobby Lashley, The Undertaker, Jim Ross, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock who have all participated in MMA events or have been attending them.

In the interview, Harry talks about what could be his last wrestling show at Stampede*Wrestling where he will face Fit Finlay. He talks about his dad's match against Bret Hart for the intercontinental title in London and the Hart Foundations celebration at the In Your House PPV in Calgary. Harry seems like such a great guy, and it's a shame that the WWE missed the boat with him. *

Best of luck to Harry "David Hart" Smith in his new career.*
