ONE Fighting Championship has announced a trio of new events slated across Asia.
As part of a newly confirmed broadcast deal with Malaysian sports network Astro ARENA, ONE FC officials have targeted an event in Malaysia for May 26, 2012. A fight card has yet to be finalized.
"Malaysia's sports fan base has always been enthusiastic about new and exciting events," ONE FC CEO Victor Cui stated. "From the World Cup to Formula 1, the discerning sports fans in this country have been very supportive of only the best. We are very happy to bring the largest MMA event in Asia with world class content to Malaysians with Astro."
In addition, ONE FC has confirmed events for September 1, 2012 in the Philippines and October 6, 2012 in Singapore. Venues will be announced at a later date.
ONE FC is Asia's most prominent mixed martial arts promotion and spearheaded the formation of the ONE FC network, a coalition of fight camps and promotions throughout Asia and Australia including DREAM, Cage Fighting Championship and Evolve Mixed Martial Arts.
