FOTOVERSLAG weging A1 World Combat Cup 7 april Eindhoven

Vandaag vrijdag 6 april was ik afgereisd naar Eindhoven waar de weging zou plaats vinden van de A1 World Combat Cup.
In de zaal waar morgen het gala plaats vind werd hard gewerkt aan de opbouw van oa de ring, het plaatsen van de Vip tafels etc.
De vechters die op de weging aanwezig waren hadden vrijwel allen het afgesproken gewicht.
Gezien de voorgaande A1 gala’s en de huidige match making verwacht ik een mooi gala met spectaculaire partijen.

Het voorprogramma zal starten om 14:30uur
Het Hoofdprogramma zal starten om 18:00uur

Bijgaand reactie welke ik bij de buren geplaatst heb, dit naar aanleiding van commentaar op de wedstrijd Buray vs Hassan.
Zodoende ook hier even geplaatst.

Gala Eindhoven Vanuit objectieve hoek:

Ali heeft een zeer net gala weggezet, lijkt mij wel zo goed om hem en zijn team daar allereerst een welverdiend compliment voor te geven, bij deze Ali en team!

Het toernooi is in samenwerking met de beide bonden in deze tijd eveneens een mooi initiatief te noemen, wie doet dit naast de grootste promoters na? Waardering in deze is zodoende in mijn ogen eveneens op zijn plaats.

Voor wat betreft de partijen die ik me kan herinneren:

Ozbasi had inderdaad na de kopstoot best de winst mogen krijgen.

Ilias had helaas niets in te brengen in het WT gevecht, hopelijk herpakt hij zich op Slamm om zo te laten zien dat hij daadwerkelijk van wereldniveau is.

Jesus een eenvoudige winst met een grappen en grollen team, leuk om het feestje te zien bij die mannen.

Geronimo laat zien dat hij bikkel is, 1 dag van tevoren instappen en met een blessure doorknokken, respect.

Pietje kwam goed weg, had zo maar extra ronde mogen zijn.

Joury in een harde partij net te kort gekomen.

Pietje Heesbeen in een leuke pot verloren, zijn tegenstander, zoals vele uit de Ali school, tactischer en slimmer, alhoewel deze heren samen er een mooi slug einde van maakten.

Ali zelf tegen een harde stugge Griek, degene die dit een pannekoek vind mag er eens zelf tegen gaan staan.... Technisch is de oude meester Ali nog immer.

Hamza van Amrani gaf kickboksles aan Dimerci, ikzelf zou zelfs de handdoek gegooid hebben, maar dat zal wel met sportschoolrivaliteit te maken hebben, in een positieve zin http://www.mixfight.nl/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Angelo Wilkes draaide een mooie pot, knap om te zien, stugge tegenstander die met een zwaai zo nu en dan dichtbij kwam.

Tayfun netjes gewonnen, werkt hard en wint zo zijn partijen.

En dan uiteraard Buray, hij kan clinchen, wat inmiddels iedereen weet en daar dusnop zou moeten anticiperen. Hassan heeft leuke schoppen dus zoekt Buray de clinch op, tot frustratie van Hassan en nog meer bij zijn hoek.

Buray staat gewoon voor op punten, wanneer hij in een actie "natrapt". Exact wat Wim aangeeft stuurt hij Buray naar de hoek om een waarschuwing te geven, en dan komt malle eppie de ring in.....

De regels zijn bekend dus Buray is winnaar, wat wel Erg jammer is, is dat Buray als een "kampioen" zijn overwinning gaat vieren. Doe normaal, het was een tactische maar lelijke pot en op zo'n manier wil niemand een overwinning vieren.

Kortom wat mij betreft een prima gala, leuke partijen, weinig ko's, goede sfeer, nette prijzen en catering, netjes gedaan team Gunyar.

Geen kritiek? Jazeker wel: de turkse folklore opkomsten zijn een drama, kom gewoon knokken en laat je dansje achterwege. Bij een van de partijen, Dimerci? Zou ik als tegenstander, Appie?, zijn weggelopen, het leek meer op Turkiye's got talent, dan een opkomst. Duurde te lang en was een drama, 6 ooms en broers die een vunzig dansje doen....

Als dit er allemaal niet tussen zat is iedereen vlot aan de beurt en kunnen we op tijd weg, jammer voor het gala.

Op naar Slamm!!
