It appears Vitor Belfort (23-10 MMA, 12-6 UFC) may finally have settled on an acceptable opponent in a familiar foe: Dan Henderson (29-10 MMA, 6-4 UFC).

It was revealed on Tuesday's new edition of "UFC Tonight" that UFC officials are targeting a rematch between Belfort and Henderson, who first met in 2006, for an as-yet-unannounced Nov. 9 fight card in Brazil that would likely serve as UFC Fight Night 32.

According to the report, both Belfort and Henderson have verbally agreed to the contest, thought it's currently unclear if the fight would take place at middleweight, light heavyweight or perhaps somewhere in between. Bout agreements have yet to be finalized

Belfort, of course, currently boasts back-to-back stoppage wins over top middleweight contenders Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping. "The Phenom" had hoped those wins would be enough to earn him a shot at the middleweight belt, but the UFC 168 rematch between current champ Chris Weidman and former title holder Anderson Silva put those plans on hold.

In the meantime, Belfort turned down a fight with Tim Kennedy and expressed his desire to fight at 205 pounds or even heavyweight while waiting for a shot at the 185-pound belt.

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old Henderson (who turns 43 later this week), looks to rebound from a pair of disappointing split-decision losses in razor-thin results against Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida. "Hendo" had been on the verge of a light-heavyweight title shot before the defeats sent him sliding down the rankings.

Belfort and Henderson first met at PRIDE 32. That night, Henderson took home a unanimous-decision win.

Ik geloof er geen reet van dat Belfort op heavyweight wil vechten, hij durft niet eens tegen Mousasi of Machida.

Belfort vs. Henderson 2 set for 205 pounds, official for UFC Fight Night 32

A recently rumored rematch between MMA legends Vitor Belfort (23-10 MMA, 12-6 UFC) and Dan Henderson (29-10 MMA, 6-4 UFC) is now official.

UFC execs today announced the bout will, as expected, take place on Nov. 9 in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. The city's 15,000-seat Goiania Arena is expected to serve as host for the card. Broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.

MMAjunkie confirmed with sources close to the event that the five-round bout will take place at 205 pounds.

Ryan LaFlare vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio added to November's UFC Fight Night 32

"The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 2" finalist Santiago Ponzinibbio (18-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) makes his official UFC debut in November, as he meets Ryan LaFlare (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 32.

The new booking was first reported by Combate, and MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed that both fighters have agreed to the contest. UFC execs have yet to officially announce the matchup.

Featuring a light-heavyweight rematch between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson, UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. A venue has yet to be names, but the city's Goiania Arena is expected to play host.

Ponzinibbio, an Argentinian fighter, entered "TUF: Brazil 2" with a remarkable 18-1 pro record and 16 career stoppages. Ponzinibbio earned his way into the season's tournament finals, but snapped his forearm in a semifinal win over Leonardo Santos and was forced to withdraw from the final bout.

Despite missing out on the opportunity to claim the season crown, he was awarded $50,000 for earning the season's best knockout and best fight.

He now meet's New York's LaFlare, who built a prefect 7-0 record with seven wins by finish before earning an April call to the UFC. LaFlare kept his record unblemished by scoring a unanimous-decision win over "The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes" competitor Ben Alloway.

Rafael 'Feijao' Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac joins UFC Fight Night 32 lineup

A light-heavyweight bout between Rafael Cavalcante (11-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Igor Pokrajac (25-10 MMA, 4-5 UFC) is the latest addition to November's recently announced UFC Fight Night 32 event.

UFC officials today announced the bout.

UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. The bulk of the card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on Facebook.

It's not clear where "Feijao" vs. Pokrajac will be placed on the lineup.

Cavalcante, who fights in his home country, looks for his first UFC win following a promotional-debut knockout loss to Thiago Silva in June. However, the action-packed one-rounder earned both competitors a "Fight of the Night" bonus.

Regardless, Cavalcante has just one win (with two losses and a no-contest due to a failed drug test) in his past four fights, and the former Strikeforce champion likely finds himself in a must-win situation.

Pokrajac, meanwhile, looks for his first win in four fights following a decision loss to Ryan Jimmo in June. Were it not for Joey Beltran's failed drug test and a subsequent no-contest, Pokrajac would be stuck in a three-fight losing streak. Instead the Croatian fighter is 0-2 (with one no-contest) since a 4-1 run that had him moving up the UFC's 205-pound ranks.

The latest UFC Fight Night 32 card now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Ryan LaFlare vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio*

Paulo Thiago vs. Brandon Thatch slated for UFC Fight Night 32

After a sensational promotional debut, Brandon Thatch is getting a step up in competition – in hostile territory – for his sophomore UFC effort.

Thatch (10-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will meet veteran Brazilian welterweight Paulo Thiago (15-5 MMA, 5-5 UFC) at "UFC Fight Night 32: Belfort vs. Henderson."

Thiago confirmed the bout via Twitter.

UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. FOX Sports 1 is expected to air the bulk of the card following Facebook prelims, though it's not clear where Thatch vs. Thiago will be placed on the lineup.

Thatch, who won eight straight fights on the regional circuit to earn a UFC contact, recently made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 27. In just 83 seconds, he steamrolled Justin Edwards and earned a $50,000 "Knockout of the Night" bonus. The Colorado-based Grudge Training Center fighter now has 10 stoppages (including seven knockouts) in 10 career wins.

He now meets a 10-time UFC vet in Thiago, who recently halted a 1-4 skid with a decision victory over Michel Prazeres (an injury replacement for Kelvin Gastelum) at UFC on FX 8. The X-Gym fighter, who scored past wins over the likes of Josh Koscheck and Mike Swick, likely saved his career with the win, which was his first in nearly two years.

The latest UFC Fight Night 32 card now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Quinn Mulhern vs. Thiago Tavares*
Brandon Thatch vs. Paulo Thiago
Ryan LaFlare vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio*

Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia at 'UFC Fight Night 32: Belfort vs. Henderson'

A featherweight bout between Godofredo Pepey (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) and Sam Sicilia (11-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) is the latest bout targeted for November's UFC Fight Night 32 event.

The bout, first reported by Globo, hasn't officially been announced by the UFC.

UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. FOX Sports 1 is expected to air the bulk of the card following Facebook prelims, though it's not clear where Pepey vs. Sicilia will be placed on the lineup.

Pepey and Sicilia initially were slated to fight earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 28, but both fighters ultimately pulled out of the event due to injuries. Pepey most recently suffered a TKO loss to Felipe Arantes. The loss moved "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" cast member to 1-2 in the UFC, and with his only victory coming via split decision to Milton Vieira, he's likely fighting for his UFC life at UFC Fight Night 32.

Sicilia also could be on the chopping block following his recent losses to Rony Mariano Bezerra and Maximo Blanco. The "TUF 15" cast member and former lightweight won his first UFC fight via knockout of Cristiano Marcello, which moved his his previous winning streak to seven. However, he's 0-2 since then.

The latest UFC Fight Night 32 card now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Quinn Mulhern vs. Thiago Tavares*
Brandon Thatch vs. Paulo Thiago
Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia*
Ryan LaFlare vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio*

Thiago Perpetuo faces octagon newcomer Omari Akhmedov at UFC Fight Night 32

Brazilian middleweight Thiago "Bodao" Perpetuo (9-1-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) will welcome promotional newcomer Omari Akhmedov (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) to the octagon at UFC Fight Night 32.

UFC officials today announced the new booking.

Featuring a light-heavyweight rematch between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson, UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil. The evening's main card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims that air on the same channel and stream on Facebook.

Placement of the Perpetuo vs. Akhmedov bout wasn't revealed, but the contest is expected to take place on the night's preliminary card.

Perpetuo was a contestant on the first season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" but fell short in the semifinals against eventual show winner Cezar Ferreira. The 26-year-old made his official UFC debut at UFC 147, where he earned a third-round TKO win Leonardo "Macarrao" Mafra. Perpetuo was expected to return to action in January, but an injury forced him to withdraw from a planned meeting with Michael Kuiper.

Akhmedov is an undefeated Russian prospect who makes his UFC debut. Fighting professionally since July 2010, Akhmedov has finished nine of his first 11 opponents, with all nine stoppages coming in the opening round.

Flyweights Jose Maria, Dustin Ortiz added to UFC Fight Night 32 in Brazil

The UFC's November return to Brazil has added a flyweight bout between a nine-year veteran and a promotional newcomer.

Brazil's Jose Maria (33-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will meet Dustin Ortiz (11-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 32. UFC officials recently announced the new booking.

Maria brought a 17-fight unbeaten streak into his UFC debut in August at UFC 163, a stretch that 16 wins, with 14 by stoppage. But against John Lineker, he ran into a new level of competition and was stopped with a second-round TKO. The 31-year-old will try to get back on track fighting in his home country for the second time in the UFC.

Ortiz will make his UFC debut on the strength of a three-fight winning streak, all by decision. The Duke Roufus-trained Tennessee native has a pair of Strikeforce stoppage victories on his resume. The only two losses of his career were decisions, including his first setback against current UFC flyweight Ian McCall.

With the addition, the latest UFC Fight Night 32 card now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Jose Maria vs. Dustin Ortiz
Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia

Brandon Thatch vs. Paulo Thiago

Rony Jason vs. Jeremy Stephens rescheduled for UFC Fight Night 32 in November

Rony Jason (13-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Jeremy Stephens (21-9 MMA, 8-8 UFC) will indeed fight in Brazil, it will just take place one month later than was originally anticipated.

UFC officials today announced both Jason and Stephens have verbally agreed to meet at UFC Fight Night 32, which takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson meet in the evening's headliner.

Jason and Stephens were expected to meet at October's UFC Fight Night 29 card, but the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) ruled Jason out of the fight due to a lumbar hernia. Shortly after, Stephens suffered an injury, as well, and the bout was scrapped.

Jason, a 29-year-old Brazilian, was the featherweight winner of the debut season of "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil." He won that season's tournament with a UFC 147 victory over Godofredo Pepey and has since registered two more official wins after earning stoppage victories over Mike Wilkinson and Sam Sicilia.

Stephens looks to return after a win in his featherweight debut in May, scoring a decision victory over Estevan Payan at UFC 160. That snapped a three-fight losing skid for "Lil' Heathen," who had fallen short against Yves Edwards, Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis.

UFC officials also confirmed a number of previously reported contests for "UFC Fight Night 32: Belfort vs. Henderson," including Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia, Quinn Mulhern vs. Thiago Tavares and Daron Cruickshank vs. Adriano Martins.

With the additions to the lineup, UFC Fight Night 32 now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian

Justin Salas replaces injured Quinn Mulhern at UFC Fight Night 32

An undisclosed injury has forced Quinn Mulhern (18-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) out of UFC Fight Night 32, and Justin Salas (11-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has stepped in as a replacement.

He now meets fellow lightweight Thiago Tavares (17-5-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC) at the November event, UFC officials today announced.
Featuring a light-heavyweight rematch between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson, UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. The bulk of the card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on Facebook.

Salas vs. Tavares is likely to be part of the televised card.

Salas recently rebounded from a TKO loss to Tim Means with a split-decision victory over Aaron Riley at UFC on FOX 8. (Riley subsequently announced his retirement). The Colorado-based Grudge Training Center fighter is now 7-1 in his past eight bouts.

Tavares, a three-time "Fight of the Night" bonus winner who competes in his home country for the fourth consecutive time, was on a 3-1 run before a recent knockout loss to fast-rising contender Khabib Nurmagomedov in January. Tavares subsequently failed a drug test due to an anabolic steroid and received a nine-month suspension.

The latest UFC Fight Night 32 card now includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Jose Maria vs. Dustin Ortiz
Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia

Johnny Eduardo vs. Lucas Martins added to UFC Fight Night 32

A bantamweight matchup between Johnny Eduardo (26-9 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Lucas Martins (14-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night 32.

UFC officials today announced the bout for the No. 9 card, which takes place at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil.

The event's main card airs live on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on Facebook. It's not clear where Eduardo vs. Martins will be placed on the lineup.

Martins is fresh off a dominant 70-second submission victory over Junior Hernandez at UFC Fight Night 28, which brought his current UFC winning streak to two. A first-round loss to Edson Barboza marked his octagon debut in January. Prior to that, the 24-year old Brazilian had never tasted defeat.

Eduardo is much more acquainted with setbacks, though his bigger issue at the moment is cage rust. The 35-year-old Brazilian hasn't fought since UFC on FUEL TV 3, where he outpointed the now-retired Jeff Curran in May 2012. He debuted in the octagon at UFC 134, where he lost a unanimous decision to Rafael Assuncao.

It remains to be seen whether that time off will make Eduardo a sharper fighter, or a stopover for Martins.

The latest UFC Fight Night 32 card includes:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Cezar Ferreira vs. Daniel Sarafian
Rafael Cavalcante vs. Igor Pokrajac
Jose Maria vs. Dustin Ortiz
Godofredo Pepey vs. Sam Sicilia

A bantamweight matchup between Johnny Eduardo (26-9 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Lucas Martins (14-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has been scratched from next week's UFC Fight Night 32 event.

FOX Sports first reported that both fighters are injured and have been forced to withdraw from the card. MMAjunkie.com subsequently confirmed the change with sources close to the event.

Featuring a light-heavyweight headliner of Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson, UFC Fight Night 32 takes place Nov. 9 at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. The evening's main card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims that stream on Facebook.

Martins was looking to build on the strength of a dominant 70-second submission victory over Junior Hernandez at UFC Fight Night 28, which brought his current UFC winning streak to two. A first-round loss to Edson Barboza marked his octagon debut in January. Prior to that, the 24-year old Brazilian had never tasted defeat.

Meanwhile, Eduardo is much more acquainted with setbacks, and the biggest issue of his career at the moment might be cage rust.
