Marloes is featherweight (65,8 kg).

Dana White may have initially said that the UFC was getting into women’s MMA slowly, but now, less than a year after the promotion introduced women bantamweights, he’s announced they’re creating a women’s strawweight division too.
White announced the big news today while appearing on FOX Sport.com’s (http://msn.foxsports.com/ufc/story/launching-115lbs-womens-division-111413?cmpid=tsmtw:fscom:foxsports)“The Fighter & The Kid” podcast, which is hosted by heavyweight Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen.

“I’ll give you guys something nobody knows yet. We’re actually working on bringing in another division for the women, which I said would never happen for a long time,” White said, before being asked by Schaub if the division would be for 125 pounds or 145 pound fighters. “Neither . . . 115 pounds,” the UFC President replied.
While some folks may be surprised to hear that the promotion isn’t going with a featherweight division, since that’s where former Strikeforce champ Cris “Cyborg” Justino competes, the 115 division is an extremely stacked one talent wise.
So, this is great news for women fighters and just MMA in general. It also signals that the introduction of women bantamweights to the UFC has been a big success, and that the promotion understands that more women’s MMA is the way to go.
Not too long ago, White wasn’t convinced (http://www.fightline.com/fl-news-2011-0921-544720-dana-white/) that there was enough women fighters to sustain one division, let alone two. White also relayed during the podcast, however, that “I never in a million years thought that it would take off the way that it has.”
No details were provided as to when the UFC hopes to promote its first women’s strawweight fight.
