Michael Langhi is one of the top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lightweights in the World, being known especially for his amazingly flexible guard game.He is a black belt under multiple times World Champion and ADCC 2013 champion Rubens ‘Cobrinha’ Charles.

In his first year as a black belt (2009) he won all four main competitions in IBJJF’ calender (Brasileiro, European Open, Pan American and World Championship) in the lightweight division, one of the biggest achievements to have ever been recorded in Brazilan Jiu Jitsu. He was named “BJJ Fighter of the year” by the press on that same year.
Langhi has one of the best open guard in the game. He has slick sweeps and submission set ups from spider guard, De La Riva guard, Reverse De La Riva and more.
Besides his amazing guard, he also has a sick passing game with lots of pressure and control.
