This footage is from a couple of weeks back at the beginning of his camp.
Here his trainer and owner of the CSA Gym, Kirian Fitzgibbons takes Kevin through some very specific pad work. CSA has brought in Kru Dam of Sitmonchai (http://www.sitmonchai.com/) to take Kevin through his final weeks of training camp. Kru Dam is the trainer behind the success of Pornsanae (http://www.mymuaythai.com/archives/tag/pornsanae-sitmonchai/), Thepnimit (http://www.mymuaythai.com/archives/tag/thepnimit/) and Yodkunpon (http://www.mymuaythai.com/archives/tag/yodkhunpon/).
I usually only include a round of pads, but because these rounds aren’t typical Thai rounds so I’ve included 3.
It’s interesting, these 3 rounds focus very specifically on kicks or punches… I’m not sure if this is how they typically train or if this was a specific tune up leading into a more tradition Thai style pad work with Kru Dam, in the following weeks.
