Zondag 24 januari uitgenodigd om het gala No Guts No Glory 9 te doen in Hellevoetsluis.
Laurent had nu een grote tent op laten stellen i.p.v. het gala in een sporthal te doen plaatsvinden.
Altijd weer gezellig om een berg oude bekenden te zien.
Op voorhand mijn excuses, ik ben een paar dagen ziek geweest en nu wil Photobucket niet van de kant, pfffffffffff.
Kan niks uploaden dus ook niet naar Mixfight, mijn excuses hiervoor.
Er stonden 32 partijen op de rol, Jeugd, Nieuwelingen, C, B en A klasse partijen zowel dames als heren.
Helaas is iemand met mijn uitslagenlijst er vandoor gegaan na het gala dus moet proberen e.e.a. uit mijn hoofd te doen.
Dat gaat het vast niet worden vrees ik.
Mogelijk dat er iemand van de organisatie is of van de VON die de uitslagenlijst in deze thread kan zetten.
Paar hele leuke partijen gezien, slechts 1 echte KO en een aantal TKO´s, medische ingrepen, kortom voor elk wat wils.
En weer goed verwend met het buffet (jammie).
Bummer was wel dat mijn nieuwe camera en nieuwe lens niet wilden wat ik wilde, dus het had beter gekund, maar beloof beterschap.
Lichtpuntje was dat er een echte cutman, Stefan van de ICA, was ingehuurd om de wonden van de topvechters te verzorgen.
Ik ken het vanuit Bellator en de UFC maar op dit niveau niet eerder gezien.
Ergo klasse op lokaal niveau.


Damencio Patty van Crosskade won met een echte KO van Mucahit Kalkan van Patszjerik, snoeiharde pot. Heerlijk.
Twee echte kokkers, soort van Manhoef.
Of jij gaat KO of ik, er is geen middenweg.
Dit is iets om naar een gala te gaan, jammie.

Remon (of is het Raymon ?) Bonte vs Patrick van Rees van Silent Dragon B.G. op full Muay Thai regels was een echt bloedbad.
Ik snap niet hoe Remon het voor elkaar krijgt de jongere garde zo lang van zich af te houden.
Patrick was duidelijk naar Hellevoetsluis gekomen om te slopen.
Werden door beiden flink wat ellebogen op het hoofd en in het gezicht uitgedeeld, Bonte had een flinke glip in zijn voorhoofd,
maar Stefan de cutman wist dat te dichten.
Toch handig zo een vakman naast de ring !!
Dankzij Stefan kon Remon de laatste 10 seconden uitvechten en de overwinning terecht opeisen.
Met gevechten als dit wil ik graag 24/7 naast de ring staan. Genieten !

Mac Rakkong van SS Ommoord vs Hasan Toy van Gym International was een gevecht om de Europese titel.
Ik heb beide vechters al heel vaak zien vechten.
Mac vocht volgens mij onder zijn niveau, zodat Hasan eigenlijk freewheelend de Europese titel pakte.
Ik denk dat Hasan meer moeite met Mac gehad zou hebben als deze scherper was geweest.
Vraag is dan of Mac wel in staat zou zijn geweest om Hasan te pakken ?
Ik weet het niet. In elk geval dik verdiende overwinning van Hasan.

We praten hier over 109 en 105 kg !
Ergo de zware heren, die kleunen op elkaar als twee olifanten of twee goederentreinen.
Het lijkt soms wat traag maar die gasten slaan en schoppen zo gruwelijk hard.
Lastig hoor als twee van je maatjes in de ring staan.
Voor wie ben je nu ?
Als reporter geen voorkeur en was een gelijk opgaande pot, die Serkan echter nipt ronde na ronde op zijn naam zette.

Ilona Wijmans van Manhoef Fight & Fitness won dik en dik op punten van de Griekse Hara Dimotroula.
Voor Ilona best lastig.
Heb je getraind voor 5 x 3 rondes tegen een Italiaanse, wordt het plots 3 x 3 minuten tegen een Griekse.
Dat vereist een berg schakelen in hoe je vecht en voor de coach (Melvin) is dat ook lastig.

Het zijn er maar een paar vrees ik. Photobucket wilde niet, so what the F..K ??
Meer dan 70% van de foto´s werd niet gedownload (meerdere keren poging gewaagd).

U kunt alle foto´s (iets van 300+) krijgen via WEtransfer.
Google het maar, is een gratis proggie.
Stuur een mail naar [email protected] en ik stuur alle foto´s door.

Nogmaals mijn excuses voor dit gebrekkige verslag, maar het is niet anders.
Rest mij niets meer zoals altijd om Laurent, alle vechters, trainers, jury, scheidsrechters en publiek te bedanken voor een geweldig gala.
