The world lightweight title will be on the line in southern China on Saturday, December 7 when GLORY returns to the Shenzhen Nanshan Culture and Sports Center for GLORY 73 SHENZHEN.

World champion Marat Grigorian (62-11-1, 35 KO’s) headlines the card as he makes his second defense of the belt he took from former champion Sitthichai earlier this year.

Opposite him will be the undefeated Elvis Gashi (23-0, 11 KO’s), fighting out of New York, USA.

Gashi has gone 5-0 in GLORY, including a win over Josh Jauncey, and in his most recent outing, at GLORY 67 ORLANDO, he scored a stoppage win in just 23 seconds.

Grigorian won the lightweight title at GLORY 65 in May this year and made his first successful defense of it when he closed Tyjani Beztati out over five rounds at GLORY 69 last month.

Further bouts for GLORY 73 SHENZHEN will be announced this week.

Josh Jauncey en Stoyan Koprivlenski zullen elkaar wederom ontmoeten in Shenzhen.
Hun gevecht in maart 2018 tijdens GLORY 52 in Los Angeles werd door fans genomineerd voor Fight of the Year 2018. Jauncey heeft zijn record uitgebreid naar 2-2 sinds dat gevecht en Koprivlenski is 2-1, beiden hebben overwinningen geboekt en zullen de ranglijst in Shenzhen gaan beklimmen.

De Amerikaanse hype is gestopt. Zijn eerst verlies partij via knock out. Gashi deed het wel goed in de begin rondes, maar Marat is de betere ervaren vechter.
Ik denk dat ze Marat in 2020 Josh Jauncey gaan geven, die via een split heeft gewonnen van Stoyan. Mooie partij ook.
Die Roberto Carlos look a like Bruno Gazani vocht ook goed, mooie win.
Die Selina Flores vind ik niet zo speciaal, ze wordt gepromoot als de nieuwe opkomende Glory ster, ze had wel moeite met die Meng.
