Lee Murray will be fighting Anderson Silva on September 11th for Cage Rage in England. There had been some talk that Anderson Silva was not taking the fight because he allegedly signed a deal with K-1, but he's supposedly in England now for the fight and it is happening.

Murray has not been booked by the UFC in recent months because of Visa issues stemming from legal problems Murray has in England, which is well known. The most likely situation with Murray is that his legal issues will probably be totally sorted out by the first part of next year at the earliest, and he could be brought back then. If Murray were to lose badly against Anderson Silva, it's possible that they won't bring him back in. I think, as long as he doesn't get hurt and screw up any sort of scheduling, Murray should be brought back in win or lose in England, because only a small fraction of the people that saw Lee Murray fight in UFC (his win over Jorge Rivera) will even know that Murray competed in Cage Rage, let alone know that he won or lost. Murray is a unique personality, a good fighter and a guy who could be built into a star, so I hope they don't waste him based on the outcome of a fight that few people are going to even know about.
