DUTCH OPEN 2004 BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Weigh in begins: 09:00
Explanation of rules: 10:00
Fights begin: 10:30

We proudly invite you to the 2nd BJJ Dutch Open, which will be held in Oss on November 27th.

The competition is for all martial arts styles and federations. (Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Wrestling, Luta livre, Sambo, etc…)


What does the BJJ Dutch Open Offer:

1. Competitors will receive a BJJ Dutch Open T-Shirt at the time they sign in.*
2. 1000euros $$$$Money Prize$$$$ for the winners of the coloured belt open class
(750 Euros for Athlete and 250 Euros for Coach!!!).
3. Prizes for most valuable fighter and also other surprises.
4. Team trophy for 3 best teams.


Food and drinks will be available at the competition

We are working hard to make the event with a high technical level, as last years was a great success, and we are counting with your presence. Hope everybody has a successful and pleasant stay, also an excellent tournament.

Sign Up until 24 of November – 25 Euros
Late Sign Up: 30 euros

The responsible for each team will send an email to the organization containing: Team Name, Weight category (by name, ex: Light weight.), Athletes Name (without nicknames) and Belt. The payment has to be done on the day of the competition

Categories: Belts: White, Blue and Elite (purple, brown and black)

*If the athlete exceeds the weight in which he is signed in he will be disqualified and only able to fight the open class.

* If there is only 1 fighter in a category he will be automatically moved to the weight category above.

Fight Duration: White belts- 5 min, Blue Belts- 6 min, Elite- 7 min.,

If an athlete has a disrespectful attitude towards a referee, staff or any other athlete he will be immediately disqualified and his team will loose 10 points.

All Athletes must wear a clean gi. The pants and top should be from the same colour. Gi colours allowed: White, Blue and Black. The Gi cannot be Torn, dirty or old.

All Athletes must have short finger nails.


*The T-shirts are for the first 200 inscribed athletes, so make sure you get yours!
