Global MMA: Pedro, first I would like to thank you for taking the time too answer these questions.
Pedro: No problem.

Global MMA: The last time we seen you fight was at UFC 45 where you defeated Ricco Rodriguez. What have you been doing since then?
Pedro: I have been training because I've had some offers to fight, so I keep training and improving some weak points in my game.

Global MMA: There have been rumors floating around that you may be fighting for PrideFC in the near future, is this true?
Pedro: Yes and no. I have talked with Pride's promoters but I haven’t signed anything yet.

Global MMA: When will we see Pedro Rizzo back in the ring?
Pedro: I don't know yet, but I hope as soon as possible.

Global MMA: How has training been going? Are you still training with Marco Ruas?
Pedro: The training is going well, always hard. I'm still with Marco this guy teach me everything. I will never leave him.

Global MMA: You recently returned from Holland, how was your trip?
Pedro: The trip was very good, I worked on my kickboxing, I did sparring almost everyday and sometimes twice a day. I trained with the best guys maybe ten different heavyweights. I always go to Holland improve my strikes with Peter Aerts. So stand up no problem.

Global MMA: You have defeated many of the top Heavyweights in the World. Is there anybody you would like to fight in particular If so, why?
Pedro: I wanna fight with the top fighters, I never choose my opponents. I still wanna prove that I'm one of the best heavyweights in the world.

Global MMA: Next I'd like to do some word association. I'll name a fighter and you can tell me what you think about them....

Pedro: I just would like to say that I'll be back much more aggressive and knocking people out!

Ik denkt dat Rizzo het in een ring beter zal doen dan in de kooi waar worstelaars een voordeel hebben.

Pride met soccerkicks en knieen op de grond zal geschikter voor hem zijn.

Alhoewel ik me afvraag of hij veel voordeel uit z'n soccerkicks en knieen zal halen. De ring is iig voor een standup vechter een voordeel tov de octagon.

Daar komt bij dat er in Pride veel meer potentiele tegenstanders zijn voor hem. Lijkt mij wel tof om hem te zien tegen Sem bijv.

Ik vond het wel tof om te lezen dat hij naar holland gaat om met Peter Aerts aan z'n standup te werken.
