Zal deze wel geweest zijn dan:

Cage Wars " The Christmas Smacker" will be in The Europa in Belfast on Sunday Dec 5th and this will be Ireland Vs Holland. The full fight card will be ready at the end of October and we hope to persuade JK and Dave Roach to be part of the action! I think it is time that Ireland got to see some of it's finest boogie in the cage right here at home! Next year promises to be big for Cage wars, with bigger venues and more action North and South of the Border!

Gefeliciteerd Rafles!

Vincent "Gazelle" Latoel en Rafles "the snakeman" la Rose vochten gisteren allebij in Cage Wars in Belfast.

This Cage Wars Christmas Smacker lived up to all expectations and delivered one hell of show. All fighters delivered a spectacular display of skill and bravery, especially the toe-to-toe between Anthony McIlroy (CS) and Tom Haddock (PB); Anthony hitting so hard he broke his hand...Tom has obviously spent time on his striking since his last fight scoring well with them in the 1st rd. Laurence Kane (CS) held off Morris Gormley (TJK) - (his absolute double!) in his debut for Chum Sut. Diarmuid O'Seaneachain (PB) was looking to take Colin McKee(CS) to the ground, but Colin was able to break the ground game and get to his feet where he finished the fight. Aidan McIlroy (TJK) opened his fight with some impressive kicks, but Adam Graham (CS) was able to close the distance and land the KO knee, giving him the win he's been waiting for. Chris Stringer (CS) was unperturbed by the fast hands of Connor Collins (TJK) managing to close the distance, pick up and slam Collins onto the canvas. From here both guys worked hard giving us reversals back and forth before the armbar was set up and the tap went in. Michael Heaney (CS) is now top of the 75kg tree making short work of his time against the the experienced Dave Jones (SBG). Owen Dempsey (SBG) was superb delighting the crowd by putting together a stand up display of virtually every striking technique you can think of! His fight against Vincent Latoel (Holland) was fast and furious, both fighters exhibiting excellent aggression and control. Latoel's leg strikes from the ground to a standing Demspey seemed to come from nowhere (didn't even seem possible at times!) & the amount of takedowns, reversals & escapes from both guys gave the crowd the fight of the night. Raffles La Rose (Holland) dominated the stand up landing strikes before scoring a takedown on Michael Slomenski (FTT). Slomcyznski held guard for what seemed an eternity, slowing things down a bit for both fighters; La Rose eventually got side control and finished by sinking the guillotine.
