Then it was time for the first seminar. Like I said, Iwan de Groot from “sportcenter de Groot was the host and he had done a really good job on a short notice. We had 122 people and when I walked in the El Guapo song blew out of the speakers as hard as a house party and everybody started to clap, great entrance! He also had a big screen on where the people who were there earlier already, could see my fights.

The seminar was great and they took care of everything for me, my old and still friend of course and only sparring partner Leon van Dijk came over and of course after the seminar we went with a group out there to a small café.

Nice rash guards he?? Iwan de Groot with his beautiful and lovely chicky!

If you live in Holland (again) close to Bergen op Zoom, go and take his classes OK? It’s a really good gym.

The hotel before we arrived at the first seminar, nice little brown hotels, that’s what I miss about Holland.

The laughing older guy in the front is my old manager and good friend Deprets. He’s a character, he always laughs and doesn’t drink and doesn’t do drugs.

We gave him some bad times in Japan. We came home after a night partying with the guys and than he had to check us in the airport because we were sleeping on the ground. He and I saw a flying saucer, for real, no BS, the craziest thing man! This guy is over 60 years old and I am telling you, you wish that you have the same amount of girls that he has, he’s a player!! With his French accent, it’s funny to see him “work the ladies.

Still not drunk because I had to go to Deventer for the seminar with Martijn de Jong. But he was in Arnhem and he asked me if they could drop me there, I should have known, within one hour we were in Amsterdam and where partying. Ah yeah, as good old times!!

We met there some guys from the Brazilian Top Team of America Ricardo Liborio was there of course and had a great time! Mootje, a student of Martijn had a fight that night and beat his opponent really easy. This guy is a really nice guy, he does pro soccer on the side, or actually the other way around, but he fights just for fun, those guys I like a lot.

Eight AM we came home and I had an interview at one o’clock (plus the put the clock an hour ahead!!) Thank God that I wasn’t drunk that night so I could get up, but it wasn’t easy.

Thank God also for my recovering system and everything worked out fine.

First an interview with Fred Royers, he was back in the days one of the best Thaiboxers from Holland, he also came from the same gym as Rob Kaman, Andre Mannaart, Milo El Geubly etc. etc. He works now also for Euro sport and some magazines, he’s a busy man, but a real good person to have as aninside guy, because he’s been there.

Great group of people again, of course not that big because it was after Easter weekend on a Sunday, but that was good because you can give more attention to the people. But still the turnout was good.

Finally I met Marloes Koenen, she’s a free fighter from Holland and is very good, this is her.

She doesn’t like to make pictures, so I had to force her, not too much other wise she will make a jumping triangle on me or something.

Can never tell that she’s a fighter he? Well, she won a cage fighting tournament in Japan and one of the people she beat was Becky Levy, with a flying triangle? An eight woman tournament!!

You will hear a lot of her, you watch!

Her trainer; Martin “the specialist de Jong, the nicest thing about him? My baseball cap!! No, he’s the greatest guy!!

The seminar went great, we had some laughs of course and it was time for me to go to Amsterdam. Clovis was driving and Marloes needed a ride, so she drove with us to Amsterdam, that was good because now I could talk to her!

She had brought sausages with her made by her family and they where great, so we ate like five of them. Like I said, also when you talk to her, you can never tell she’s so tough!

We dropped her of home to meet her friend and drink a beer and than it was time again to leave.

First we had to eat because it was already late and the restaurants were closing. After that we went to Clovis his place.

On the first seminar my old injury came back, it hurt so much because it’s a nerve.

When I am in LA I will have a shot there, that will take away the pain so I can go to Japan pain free, when I come back I will let him fix it right away.
