I visited Amsterdam in the early Seventies and visited the original Chakuriki dojo...there I met a short muscular guy who introduced himself as Robbie Harinck (son of Thom)...did the son change his name to Tom???

I remember people saying that Thom had adopted him, and that Robbie was originally from Haarlem.

Out of respect for his trainer (those where the day's), a fighter wanted Thom to adopt him, however it never happend as far as i know.
The real name of the fighter was and still is Robbie Shuman.
