From pororesupower:
Emelianenko Fedor’s official Japanese home page reports http://www.fedor.jp/index_jp.shtml?id=99 that he had a 90-minute operation/surgery on his right hand on 1/26 in Sankt Petersburg, Russia. Doctors & specialists have told him that he needs six months of time off for the hand to fully heal.
If Fedor sticks to the doctor’s advice, that would prevent him from working the 5/5 Osaka Dome show. It also would prevent him from working in July because he would need time to train. That would likely set his timetable for fighting to be in September.
