a man before undergoing a sex-change operation, won by unanimous decision after the three-round fight, leaving her rival with a cut near his eye from an elbow in the last round.
It was "Nong Tum's" first fight since having the operation and becoming a woman and her next bout is expected to be in June in the US - this time against a woman. She is taking on American Lucia Rijker, who played a starring role in the Hollywood movie "Million Dollar Baby". - The Nation
