The differences between Japan Rules and Vegas Rules.
LINEAR KICKS MAY NOT BE DIRECTED TOWARD AN OPPONENTÂ?fS KNEES.
Front Kick, Side Kick, Back Kick, Spinning Side Kick, Spinning Back Kick
FIGHTERS MAY NOT PULL THEIR OPPONENTÂ?fS HEAD DOWN INTO A KNEE STRIKE.
A fighter may not have their hands on or around their opponentÂ?fs head, neck or torso while, or just prior to striking the head with the knee.
FIGHTERS MAY NOT HOLD THE HEAD WITH ONE HAND AND PUNCH THE HEAD WITH THE OTHER.
A fighter may not punch his opponent in the head while holding, or pulling on his opponentÂ?fs head or neck.
REFEREES MAY NOT ADMINISTER STANDING EIGHT COUNTS.
Standing downs may not be given by the referee. If a fighter is damaged enough for the referee to step in stop the other fighterÂ?fs attack the bout should be stopped via TKO. If a fighter is damaged and would have gone down if not for the ropes holding him up the referee may consider this a knock down and start the count. If the fighter is not obviously injured but is not fighting back the referee may break the fighters in order to warn non-attacking fighter for being passive.
A FIGHTERÂ?fS MOUTHPIECE MUST BE REPLACED IF IT FALLS OUT DURING A BOUT.
When a fighterÂ?fs mouthpiece falls out, at the first opportunity that does not interfere with the immediate action of the bout the referee will stop time, pick up the mouthpiece and have the corner replace it back in the fighterÂ?fs mouth. If the referee believes that the fighter is losing the mouthpiece on purpose, or more often than is reasonable, he may caution, warn or penalize that fighter.
CLOSE ROUNDS MAY NOT BE SCORED EVEN
Each judge must find some method using the established criteria to determine which fighter had the advantage in each and every round, even if only by a slight margin
THE FINAL ROUND WILL BE EVALUATED ACCORDING TO THE SAME CRITERIA AS ALL OTHER ROUNDS
The final round may not be evaluated in any way with consideration for what has occurred in rounds prior to it.
VIDEO REVIEW WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE NATURE OF CONTACT WITH A SPINNING BACKFIST
PURSE PENALITIES BASED ON PERFORMANCE, PENALITIES OR DISQUALIFICATION WILL BE AT THE SOLE DESCRETION OG THE NEVADA STATE ATHLETIC COMMISSION
DECISIONS MADE AT RINGSIDE BY THE REFEREE OR JUDGES WILL NOT BE REEVALUATED BY THE SUPERVISOR, OR SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE.
