Vechters zijn voorgesteld. Doordat de verbinding nogal eens moet bufferen heb ik Alistair en Gilbert gemist. Voortdurend wordt ook Fedor in beeld gebracht die toe zit te kijken.

Takeda and Fedor are in the ring.
As is the belt for this GP.
Takeda thanks the crowd. He then says it is usually his job to say a fw words in opening, but today it will be Fedor doing it.
He goes on to say the 14 fighters all want to fight this 1/60000........ fighter, Fedor.
He says Fedor is expected to be fighting in the second round.
Fedor says......."Konbanwa (good evening). Hello to the Japanese fans. ................" holy shit....the translator is shit....she is useless.
He basically seems to have said all the fighters here tonight are grest fighters, and I will do my best to be back in the ring in this GP in the second round, not being able to tonight unfortunately due to the injury to my hand.

Gilbert en Zentsov zijn in ieder geval net voorgesteld met een introfilmpje.

Round 1:
Yvel with a left hook an d a knee to the body, throwing hooks at Zenstov, whos backing up. Teep by Yvel, Roman judo throws him down into side contol. Good flurry but now he's on his back. Roman securing position, throwing a couple of short right hands. Now mounts him and has his arms trapped. Probably thinking arm bar.
Yvel bridges and Roman momentarily looked like he had an armbar but now Yvel reverses him into Roman's half guard. Trying to crossface and stand up, I would guess. Nice sweep by Roman and now he's in Yvel's guard, throws a couple of right hands.
They are restarted in the centre of the ring, Roman hits him but they weren't given the green light to go and the ref cautions him. Left by Zenstov, and another, trying to posture and pound. Right bodyshot by Yvel and a left to the head, getting some decent shots in Yvel's closed guard.
Roman with a chopping left and a few short rights to the body. Yvel's guartd has opened up and now he closes it as Roman thinks about moving away. Good shots here by Roman from the guard, lefts and rights, about 5 of them. Yvel tries to work his hips out but Roman stays with him and throws a 1-2 to his head and back to short rights on the body.

Gilbert verloren op KO, linkerhoek!!
Left and a right, and now he's momentarily trying a keylock but Yvel gets windo f it and moves away. Roman continuing to pound with decent shots, Yvel tries a triangle and Roman brushes it away and takes side control. 5:30 left in the round. Roman looking for that keylock again here, and now he's got it good. Takes mount but Yvel gets up, hits him with a knee, and a left hand, 3 punch combination. Counter left hook by Roman as he's moving backwards knocks Gilbert on his face. Roman avoids following up, and the ref stops it. He does the same thing he did against Rizzo, looking at the ref as he slowly goes to load up a bomb as if to say "are you really gonna make me deliver the coup de grace here?". KO by Zenstov. Nice one.
Damn, echt balen zeg :(

Shit happens. gilbert hoort gewoon niet op dit niveau meer thuis. Hij had zijn kans en dat is nu over(was zijn laatste gevecht op zijn contract). Dus tijd voor een nieuwe generatie vechters. Hoe lullig het ook is. Lopen nuthuggen heeft geen nut. Realiteit is dat je ass is gewooped ...AGAIN!!! Dus have a coke and a smile and..... NEXT FIGHT

jammer gilbertyvel, volgende keer beter, ondanks dat hij volgens hem en andere een completere vechter is mbt het grondwerk, heeft hij er niet van kunnen profiteren, misschien is het een idee om weer terug naar zijn roots te gaan met vechten en gewoon weer te gaan vliegende knie-en

Round 1:
Holy shit Werdum doesa flying frontkick which hits Alistar in the face but no real power behind it. Alistar tries a flying knee which misses. High teep by Werdum misses. He tries another flying kick, Alistar jerks his head to get outo f the way. Overeem switches from southbpaw to conventional and is stalking him. They trade short punches and clinch. Werdum is going for an inside trip, they are aganist the ropes, Alistar trying to push him away, and he does.
OVereem comes in with a looping left that misses, Werdum pushes him away. No real solid strikes landed yet. Lowkick by Werdum glances. Overeem comes in with a right straight that misses, they try to trade knees clinched against the corner
Alistar picks him up and drops him, body slam style, in Werdum's half guard. Werdum qucikly reestablishes full guard. AListar gets up and kicks at Werdum's legs a couple teimes, Fabricio gets up and shoots a hab which misses. Alistar connects with a good hook, Werdum tries to come forward with some punches wihc connect glancing, good knee to the body by AListar. THey're clnched in the corner.
Nother knee to the body by Alistar. Werdum breaks out. High kick misses by Alistar. Front kick by Werdum. Werdum seems to have worked on kicking. Knee to the body, and another, by Overeem. Tries to go for a knee to the head but it doesnt quite go. They are clinched against the ropes with Werdum against the corner. Werdum pulls guard.
Overeem stands up, goes fora flying stomp which doesnt connect. Comes in wth a trademark Alistar Overeem hunching over overhand left which doesnt really connect. Clinched in the corner Werdum keeping his knee up to prevent Alistar from keeing him. Alistar slips but is right back up on the break. Straight left and a knee to the body by Alistar, clinched in the corner again, brings Werdum out and takes him down from a body lock. In Werdum's open guard. Werdum working heels on hips, alistar gets up and they're Inoki-Ali.

Ref breaks them and they're standing, Thai clinch knee to the body by Werdum met by a right hook on the break by Alistar. Skirts away from Werdum's jab. Jab by Aliustar doesn't connect, another flying knee to the body. They are linched, AListar catches Werdum's leg off a knee attempt and takes him down, Werdum going for an omoplata. but gives it up. Closes his guard.
Alistar not doing much in his closed guard, postures up and goes for a karate chop type strike whihc misses. Gets up and they're back to their feet. Werdum misses a high teep, goes for a lazy left which Overeem counters with a nice looping right. Clinched in the corner, Overeem going for a hip toss, Werdum counters with an inside trip but Alistar ends up on top. Few short rights to Werdum's head, and a short left to the body. Werdum going for a kimura but gives it up befor he can get an arm.
Lazy rights from Overeem inside Werdum's guard. Werdum working heelkicks to Alistair's kidney, now going for a triangle, Overeem almost passes off that but Werdum moves accordingly and Alistar stands up. As Werdum gets up, Alistar tags him and he falls back down, but probably more from balance than the strike. Bell.

Round 2:
OVereem with a looping right that misses. they're being cautious in the standup here. Lowkick by Werdum. They clinch and alistar goes for a knee to the body, Werdum with a couple of decent punches as they break, AListar misses a looping punch that suggests he might be fatiguing, Werdum gets an inside trip but they scurry up to their feet, Alistar with a good knee ot the head, AListar stumbles backwards and Werdum chases him with straight punches. They are clinched in the corner and broken.
NIce right straight by Werdum, counter glances by Overeem, Knees Werdum's thigh, tries to take him down, Werdum gets top position and has north-south on Overeem but alistar works up to his feet. Fabricio hauls him down and Overeem falls throug the ring.
They are restarded standing. Werdum with a left, Overeem knees his thigh and takes him down from a bodylock like he is so good at doing. Werdum working to heels on hips, but goes back to a closed guard. Thinking about a kimura and he's got the arm in a figure 4! He has it pulled out now, Alistar trying to defend but Werdum yanks it and Alistair taps! Fabricio Werdum subs him with a kimura! It was a straightarm kimura, nice sub.
Alistair got tired again
Hunt vs TK nu bezig. HUnt komt terecht in de halfguard van TK. Weinig actie.
Hunt gaat weer staan en er volgt een slagenwisseling. Hunt zet TK vast tegen de touwen. Wederom een slagenwisseling en Hunt krijgt daarbij een trap van TK op z'n ballen. Break en Hunt krijgt even rust.
Parij wordt weer hervat. Hunt slaat TK neer met een rechter directe.. Match vervolgt op de grond. Hunt sidemount. TK ontsnapt en heeft nu backmount. Draaien om terwijl TK nog steeds de rug van HUnt heeft.
TK begint te hameren. Hunt verdedigt goed. Ontsnapt uit de backmount maar dreigt in een armklem terecht te komen. Vreemde positie. Hunt ontsnapt wederom en gaat weer staan. Gevecht wederom weer staand.

Onzin als je het mij vraagt. Gilbert is jong en heeft in het verleden laten zien dat hij een talent is. Volgens mij is het een kwestie van hard doortrainen en dan komt het wel weer goed.
Ja eindelijk ik kijk ook LIVE OK DAN !!
Cirkelen om elkaar heen. Redelijk wat actie. TK is nog geen eens echt de mindere van HUnt staand. Even wordt TK vast gezet, maar even later is het de beurt aan TK. TK wordt goed geraakt, maar lacht en zegt "kom maar".
TK shoot. Goeie sprawl van HUnt. Harder linker van HUnt, Harde rechter. TK is aangelsagen en gaat naar de grond. Hunt erachter aan en geeft TK een beating. Hunt gaat weer staan. TK staat op en weet Hunt weer aardig te raken.
Beide vechters blijven lekker bezig maar zien er echt vermoeid uit. Veel maai en zwaai werk. TK zakt naar de grond en Hunt er boven op in de mount. Bel voor het einde van de ronde.

2e Ronde:
TK blijft nog steeds staan met Hunt. Hij heeft wel lef. Wordt zo nu en dan toch aardig geraakt. Scheids breakt. Er moet even gekeken worden naar het gezicht van TK. Ziet er behoorlijk bebloed uit.
Partij wordt weer hervat. High kick van Hunt. TK brengt Hunt naar de grond en heeft side control. Hunt komt weer omhoog en krijgt een knie na van TK.
Shoot van TK en weer een goeie sprawl van Hunt. Tot 3x toe. 4e keer stapt Hunt eenvoudig weg. Harde low kick van hunt. TK wederom een shoot, wederom goeie sprawl van Hunt.
Tk is degene die vooruit vecht. Hunt geeft in z'n achteruit een mooie high kick. Harde knie van Hunt terwijl Tk naar de grond gaat.
TK gaat weer staan maar gaat half van vermoeidheid een paar seconden later weer naar de grond. Scheids staakt de partij. Hunt wint op tko.
Wie pakt de volgende partij?
Ik zeg Noguira door gesrekte armklem...

Barnett op ze Amerikaans met zijn muziek en ziet er erg focus uit. Fedor(de groote) kijkt van de zij lijn ook erg gespannen

Round 1:
Both guys cautiously feeling each other out. Straight left by Alex, counter by Barnett barely misses. Barnett tries to shoot, ALexander gets out of it, tags Barnett with a right. Alex did his fancy windup deal. They clinch, knee inside by Barnett, Knee to the body by Alex. Right hand by Alex and they break. Fedor shouting out instructions. Oho, looks like Barnett caught an eye poke. THey're taking time. Banett already cut a bit between his eyes.
Ronde 1
Beetje draaien en dan probeer Barnett Alex naar de grond lukt niet dan gaan ze clincen Alex een paar knieen Barnett last van ze oog wedstrijd ligt even stil

Alex Comes in with a right, a left that barely connects, and a looping overhand that misses. Overhand right by Josh misses, jab by Alex.

Clinch and 2 knees by Jopsh, bodyshot and a hook by Josh. Ref calls for action as gthey get taentative, bodyshot by Josh, right hook counter by Alex. Alex comes forward with a 1-2. He is the aggressor. Nice shovel punch to the body By Alex. Alex tags him with a punch and staggers Josh momentarily but he's OK. LEft jab by Alex.
Right by Barnett, jab by Alex, alex gets a knee in too. He jabs Barnett again. Keeps trying to go for a jab-uppercut combo but is not making the uppercut tight enough. Bodylock by Josh, going for a TD but Alex breaks free, Josh gets a knee as they brewak. Alex lookingvery casual with his hand low. Alex gets a nice right straight. Nice combo by Alex, Barnett counters with a good right, they clinch for a second and break. Good left to the body by Josh, trying to bob and weave and keeps getting tagged by Alex's hook. Uppercut by Barnett, and a hook by Alex. ALex maybe tired. Good shovel punch by Alex.

Nother good bodyshot by Barnett, jab by Alex. Striaght right by Alex. Alex looking fatigued, breathing out of his mouth. Tags him with a left, and a couple of uppercuts, now another left, a knee, and a right. Time cause Josh kicked him in the groin as they broke.
They're back quickly. Alexander misses a left. Get an uppercut but Josh goes for a highkick whigh hits Alex in the shoulder. Good overhand right by Josh. Trying to take Alex down but he stays up. Knee by Josh on the break. Looping right dodged by Alex. Alex jabs, he looks extremelt tired. They trade knees. Josh beginning to tire too, momentarily rests his hands on his thighs. Double jab hits by Alex. Alex connects with a left hook. Both guys tired here, Alex continues to score with a jab. They trade punches, Josh trying to push his head down for a knee, misses a kick as they break. Jab by Alex.
Josh rushes forward but nothing, rushes forward again and gets a short hook to the ody and a glancing left as they break. Misses a teep as the round ends. Alex is TIRED as hell.
Eerste ronde gaat duidelijk naar Aleksander. Hij komt beter en vaker door dan Barnett. Wel begint het er nu op te lijken dat Aleksander behoorlijk moe wordt. Ik hoop niet dat de tank straks leeg is want ik zie liever hem winnen dan Barnett.

Damn, Barnett heeft gewonnen. Aleksander was denk ik gewoon te moe. Barnett brengt 'm naar de grond, kiigt sidemount, en geeft een paar goeie knieen op de kop van Alkeskander. Daarna moet Aleksander kloppen op een armbar :(

Mijn baas vraagt zich af waarom mijn productie zo laag ligt vandaag......
Ruas is in Fujita's corner. Thompson doing his psycho routine.
Nakamura is beside Eiko Koike and Takada at the broadcast booth.
They stare each other down. Fujita smiling and dodding.
Oooh, Thompson waves him in. Fujita shoots twice with no go. Jab by Thomson, extremely looping right by Fujita misses. Fujita half-shoots and gives it up, and does it again. Thiompson trying to catch him coming in but is too slow to the punch. Left jab by Fujita, he shoots, Thomson avoids it, couple of knees to the body by James. Fujita lifting his knee to block James' in the corner as they clinch. Nother knee by Thompson. Knees to the body by Thomson. ombo by THomson, Fujita shoots, sprawled on again. some punches in counter by Thompson. Bodyshots in the clinch by Thompson
You are not going to believe this but Thompson's shorts say FIGHT DVD on them. ROFL. Fujita with no offense so far. Awful lowkick by Thomson. Looping right misses by the Beast. He seems unsure of how to approach Thomson. Lowkick by James. They circle and james kicks low again.
Fujita looks waaay rusty. He hasn't connected with a strike yet and his shots aren't very god. Punches and a knee to the body by Thomson, now Fujuta connects with a straight right. Lowkick by Jaes. Frontkick and a 1-2 by Thompson. They trade punches, James connects more. Glancing lowkcik by Thomspon. Fujuta looks lost out there.
Nother lowkick by James. Jab anda striaght right by THomson. Knee to the body, and another couple. They trade wild hooks. Good knee to the body by Thomson, they trade punches and clinch again, James working bodyshots and knees.

Kneeing Fujita's body and head now. He geta a thai clinch and a knee which sends Fujita backwards. Throwing some short uppercuts is Fujta, Fujita gets a right. Nother knee by THompson. Fujita shoots for a single and has a leg, they're agains the ropes. Thomson re verses it and is in Fujita's half guard
In Fujita's half guard throwing some short rights, Fujita reestablishes full guard. Bodyshot and 2 to the head by James. Throwing some weak punches but he looks tired. Fujita was holdin an arm but Thomson gets up, they trade punches now, Fujita with some uppercuts i the clinch. Both guys are tired and are not connecting well . Fujita begins to take over landing al ot of punches on Thomson, just wild hooks but James is staggered and seems to be hurt. Eventually one of them sends Thompson to the mat, KO.
Alsjeblieft, Ronald. Klant is koning :lol:
Fujita is dead in the 2nd round, he looked awful and only won cause Thompson gassed hard, IMO.
Fuuuuuuuck wat een slugfest zeg op het eind :shock: . Fujita slaat zichzelf echt helemaal leeg en Thompson zakt op een rechthoek van Fujita echt in één keer in elkaar.

Hahahaha... ze draaien daar nu wat commercials, en raad eens wie er te zien is in een commercial voor tv's (dacht tenminste dat het voor tv's was).... Dick Advocaat :mrgreen:

Het is trouwens ontzettend gaaf om live te kunnen kijken. Ik kan het jullie allemaal aanraden :lol: . Wel erg jammer dat er juist in het begin (bij de partijen van Gilbert en Alistair) problemen waren. Die heb ik dus nog niet gezien.
Maar ik had een tijdje geleden nog niet durven hopen dat het nu al mogelijk zou zijn om Pride live te kunnen kijken. Echt top man :D .

Ik kijk op Afreeca,het is daar op 6 channels zonder enige hapering,is een koreaans programma.

Minowa is met moeite een light heavyweight, dus da's nou niet echt een graadmeter.

Good combination by Zulu, Nogueira shoots and now they are in a wierd position on the ground, Nogueira scrambles to take his back but Zulu gets guard, Nogueira passes in an instand and is in side control working short left hands to Zulu's head.

Nishijima misses a low kick, avoids a jab by Yoshida. Nother lowkick by Yoshida, he grabs Nishijima and takes him down with hardly even doing anything, more like a slip from Nishijima. He's in side control and is working for a gi choke, punches with his rigtht a couple times and takes mount. He works his left hand in short punches to Nishijima's head, he has his arm blocked so he gets about 10 weak shots. Nishijima tries to bridge but Yoshida still has very dominant position, he has a triangle and it looks deep. Now trying to go for an armbar as well. It's over, I can't tell whether from the triangle or armbar.

Damn jammer van beide nederlanders, wil de partijen wel zien kon helaas niet live meekijken..
jammer voor gilbert, alistair komt er wel weer bovenop, die pakt hem volgende keer gewoon, wel opvallend dat het volgens de pbp wéér aan zijn conditie lag.
Ja Allistair was gewoon in controle alleen bij die laatste takedown die ie maakte zag het er gewoon niet meer zo overtuigend uit. De eerdere keren stond ie ook op na een beetje gn'p wat ie toen niet meer deed, en die kimura tja ik zou er zelf geen hout van kunnen maar ik zie echt bar weinig vechters op dat niveau die zich daar nog in laten vangen, meestal duwen ze hun knie ertussen en eruit trekken die arm.
Ik denk ook niet dat het zozeer z'n conditie is, als ie niet meer in de optimale vorm steekt en een beetje moe wordt dan stort gewoon alles in bij 'm, dan lijkt ie wel te bevriezen terwijl ie even daarvoor nog geweldige dingen deed.
Damn Gilbert loopt echt vol op die stoot.... Hij was gewoon te enthousiast toen hij weer het staande gevecht kon aanvangen.

Damn Gilbert loopt echt vol op die stoot.... Hij was gewoon te enthousiast toen hij weer het staande gevecht kon aanvangen.
Inderdaad, erg jammer, want hij deed het niet slecht! Staand ging het lekker, dat hij dan op die stoot loopt kan gebeuren. Het publiek was volgens mij wel op zijn hand dus dat is een goed teken. Ik denk dat ze hem daar wel terug zullen vragen.
Die Fujita kan gewoon veel nemen... Wel grappig dat op +- 9 minuten van de partij ineens een bloedspetter op de camera "springt".
Vond het ook een leuke partij om te zien, staand was ie weer lekker aggresief en op de grond draaide hij goed uit de subs...volgens mij ook de eerste keer dat gilber zo ko ging...jammer...ik zie m graag terug!
Verdori die Alistair is de hele partij beter, en dan vlak voor het einde zo moeten aftikken. Kan gebeuren maar wel zuur zeg.

Echt zonde voor Alistair en wat een negatieve vechter is die Werdum zeg! Hoop dat ze zijn kop eraftrekken in de volgende rondes. Totaal geen agressie en ik vond Alistair op alle vlakken dominanter. Kon staan en hem neerleggen wanneer ie wilde. Toch was hij niet echt scherp, je voelde soms de countermogelijkheden, maar het gebeurde steeds net niet. Ik ben trouwens geen deskundige, maar kon Alistair niet over die armklem heen 'bruggen'?
Met die linkse van Zentsov is iets raars aan de hand, opvallend dat Gilbert staand keihard ging, maar helaas.
Fujita-thompson was top. Barnett is ook een bikkel, maar neemt te veel. Alexander is wel wat door de mand gevallen vind ik.

wel jammer van allistair...inderdaad vreemd zoals sommige zeggen..
Dit leek net op het gevecht van hem vs shogun, toen deelde hij ook een dikke pak slaag uit, en ineens wat het over voor hem. Ik ben benieuwd wat hij er zelf over zegt, mist hij daar uitlatingen over doet op dit message board. Maarjah hij komt er wel!! Laten we echter niet hopen dat het zo'n pech vechter wordt, dan moet ik echt denken aan kerels als Guy Mezger, die het altijd wel oke deden maar altijd pech hadden...
Kut voor allister maar die Werdum heeft ze kansje vies afgewacht...Yvel ja kan gebeuren zie hem graag terug want hij kwam weer uit die klemmen, prachtig mooi!!!

Barnett was indd impressive, maar alexander ging er net zo hard voor. Dat ie zonder gas kwam is erg zonde, maar zal de emilianenKOs kennende geen 2e keer gebeuren.

hij bedoelt ook waarschijnlijk niet de hoogstaande mma kwaliteiten hehehe... je moet toegeven dat de amusementswaarde wel erg goed was. ik bedoel, Fujita leek haast op Rocky man! eerst verliest ie en hij wint uiteindelijk...
Inderdaad. Het niveau was nou niet echt hoogstaand.
Thompson, de Colossus, is echt een stripfiguur. Zulke klappen gewoon nemen en er zo bij blijven kijken, echt grappig. Met top-MMA had het niet veel te maken.

maar ik kies dit soort partijen altijd boven technische matchups hoor!
frye takayama bijvoorbeeld, hoelang geleden is dat en nog kan ik daar helemaal gek van worden als ik die partij kijk.
