Fight Planet 2 and more Portuguese action

Who thought Portugal was only about sun, beaches, fun and football is partially wrong. MMA is exploding on those western Mediterranean shores and competitive teams and events are growing like mushrooms. After a successful sold-out first edition, Northern organization Fight Planet will return to a much bigger venue featuring a brand new octagon. The card will be mainly MMA-filled, with fighters from six Portuguese top teams, but one will also be able to witness a submission GP and a Jiu Jitsu challenge (North vs South, always a spicy theme in Portugal). Some famous Brazilian names like IVC, Meca, Storm Samurai and Jungle Fight veteran Rodrigo Riscado, MTL champion Leonardo Santos and Nova Uniao's big-man, Mr. Wendell, will be cage-side. Travelling to South, Dynamite Promotions, a powerful name in European Kickboxing, will organize an International December card (Dynamite 7 - bad intentions), on the paradisiacal beaches of Algarve, featuring a MMA superfight to tease the audience for what is coming once their steele cage will be operational in January and they promise to take the European scene by storm with a new MMA organization. Last, but not the least, there'll be action also in the center of the country. Showfight will make its debut in November near the capital, Lisbon. Detailed reports and fight cards soon.
