Hi everyone, i just made the newest european top ten, and Alistair entered the rankings again after his bad slump recently.

Ik vind dat Quinton Jackson ook wel in je top 10 had mogen staan, maar ja het is een europese lijst dus daar hoort hij ook niet bij.

over die cheick, ik ben groot maar hij is fucking heavy (aardig gozer en vriendelijk) zeg en ik vind hem ook een Topper. :thup:

ik denk omdat cheick actiever is dan dat Fedor dat is nu...... om nr1 te blijven en zijn imo moet je dat wel blijven bewijzen, hij is misschien de beste vechter maar niet de nr1 van dit moment, dat moet Fedor maar oa met oud en nieuw bewezen worden door zijn partij weer te winnen (waar ik wel vanuit ga).
Ik formuleerde het verkeerd.. ik bedoelde met "cheick onder fedor" --> "Cheick boven Crocop"...
Ook al heeft cheick een keertje gewonnen van Crocop... Dat maakt hem nog geen betere vecter dan crocop is.

I think Yvel should be ranked higher then a 10th place because of his last wins and he beat Kongo....

Yvel won heel lang geleden van Kongo. Maar ik zie Kongo ook nog niet als tweede beste zwaargewicht, daarvoor heeft hij nog te weinig laten zien. Hij hoort natuurlijk wel thuis in de top 10, net zo als Alistair Overeem.
Where is Sergei Kharitonov(HW)?
He has beaten Alistair last time, and I think he's also better than Kongo(so 2nd place would not be a bad spot for him).
Kharitonov hasnt fought in Europe for over two years now, so hes not available for this list.
Yvel will be higher once he fights another strong hw like Scherner, Gouram, Faverus and Shoji are a little small for a legit HW. Still i really like how he improved his groundgame.
Mousasi reall is the king at middleweight at the moment, only Kampmann would rival him for the first place as of now.

Melvin last fought in Europe in July 2006, would love to see him fight live back here.

Well, don't really understand this 'rule'.
Most top level European fighters barely fight on European soil, because the big promotions are in the USA or Japan.
Right now only the UFC guys can be lucky to fight in the UK every now and then....it doesn't affect their nationality, does it?
In my opinion, if you make a so called "European Top Ten", fighters like Kharitonov belong on the list.
The other alternative is to change the name of the list to "Top European fighters who fight in Europe." :)

Well your right, but the list is not there to show that fedor hansen and morkevicius are the top dogs here, everyone knows that. It is furthermore there to show people who the best fighters in europe are at the moment that actually fight here. Plus it is hard to rank fighters if they havent fought for three or four years in europe with those that do. Id rather give the up an coming fighters a chance and the feedback for this list has been really good so far, especially from fighters that contacted us.
The name change would be appropriate, but we added the rules and regulations for this Top ten at the beginning of the article in german and english to make it clear.
