Hello,
I will be in Amsterdam January 2-5 and would like to train Shooto / MMA while I am there. I am a pro MMA fighter with a professional fight record of 1-0.
I have a pro fight Sweden on 9 February and am keen to train with some female fighters to prepare. I was wondering if anyone (especially women as I know Holland is home to many highly skilled women fighters) could suggest som e good places to rtain or if they themselves are free to train?
I currently weigh 70kg and have been training MMA for 5 years. Please let me know if it would be possible to train at your gym and if so what I will need to bring, what time the classes are, how much they cost and how I can get to the gym.
Many thanks
Danielle West
I don't know if Marloes Coenen is training that week in Amsterdam but maybe you can contact her or Martijn de Jong.

Thanks! Marloes suggested I go to the forum so am here. She isn't completely sure she is training next week and I was hoping to try and set up training or find classes/ open mats every night while I am there (it's a business trip) and have arranged to stay all day Saturday. I know Nadia Van der Wal has fought my opponent and beaten her so I was hoping Nadia or perhaps Willemijn Van Zon will be training in Amsterdam this week. To be honest it would be great to train with anyone over in Amsterdam as there are many great Dutch fighters and I think I would learn a lot.
You can train your condition in the north of The Netherlands :D

Vos Gym is at the Wijdesteeg nr. 4 in Amsterdam. Take tram 1, 2, 5, 13 or 17 from the Cental station and stop at the Dam square. From there it's only a three minute walk.
What's an oliebol?
an oliebol is a food they eat at new year.. it's a ball (bol) of dough baked in oil (olie) hence the oliebol..
but it's also used as a term for stupid people... :D
so an oliebollen training usually is a training at 31 december and people eat olliebollen afterwarts... but you can also see it as an training for stupid people (at least that's how I see it :D)
have fun training.. happy new year
