Kiwi signed with Pro-wrestling event
Today some sad news for MMA fans arose. The Kiwi Mark Hunt, who figured among the top heavyweights during the days of Pride decided to step away from MMA and signed with Hustle, a Japanese pro-wrestling organization, regarded by many to put on choreographed fights.
Hustle is famous for drawing MMA fighters to its events, exploiting the sport’s popularity in the country. Athletes like Mirko Cro Cop, Josh Barnett and Mark Coleman have already participated in the show. The kickboxer, who was the first non-European to be K-1 champion, has not fought MMA since December 31 of 2006, when he was submitted by Fedor Emelianenko, and has overcome some big names in MMA like Mirko Cro Cop and Wanderlei Silva.
