In the main event of GLORY 9, the current Cage Rage champion Paul Cahoon will take on UFC fighter Tomasz Drwal from Poland. Cahoon an UK Golden Glory fighter is on a winning streak since 2005. He defeated Elvis Sinosic to capture the Cage Rage World Title in December 2007.
Tomasz Drwal with a 14-2-0 record was undefeated since 2004 only to lose by TKO to Brazilian UFC superstar Thiago Silva in UFC 75. Tomasz changed teams and started to train Muay Thai in Holland to improve his stand up game and is more hungry than ever!
GLORY promoter Martijn de Jong: “This fight will get everybody out of their seats as nonstop action is guaranteed, both guys will come out and start swinging for the fences, no doubt about it”! “The fight is scheduled for 3 five minute rounds but you’d better not blink as the fight can be over every second”!
