Anderson Silva confirmed with tatame.com the he will be fighting Yushin Okami for the MW title, a date will be set after Silva’s july 19 fight with James Irvin. Silva and Okami fought in 2006 in Rumble on the Rock 8 with Okami winning after Silva committed an illegal kick and was disqualified.
“The rules were not clear to me and I gave an illegal kick and I was disqualified. I was winning the fight and believe that he should not take one more round fighting with me. He is a great fighter and is very skilled, he is proving this in the UFC. I believe he has already accredited to dispute the belt”, said Anderson .
