MMAmania.com (UFC blog for UFC news, results, videos, rumors, fights, pics and tickets MMAmania.com (http://www.mmamania.com)) has received the fighter payouts for UFC Fight Night 14: “Silva vs. Irvin” from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for the Spike TV event held on July 19 from “The Pearl” at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

And UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva was rewarded handsomely for his “favor” to move up to light heavyweight, earning a guaranteed $200,000. Brandon Vera – the other Octagon veteran who made his 205-pound debut – matched the “Spider’s” purse for his unanimous decision win over Reese Andy.

There aren’t many salary surprises on other than that – it all seems to look somewhat normal. Of course, there are several newcomers who earned the minimum for their participation on the card, which was put together on short notice to counter the Affliction: “Banned” pay-per-view (PPV) that same night.

Hoe kan het in godsnaam zo zijn dat Frankie Edgar maar 13.000 dollar vangt... en 13.000 vanwege winst..

hij zou als basis alleen al zo'n 35000 moeten krijgen..
