MMAmania.com (UFC blog for UFC news, results, videos, rumors, fights, pics and tickets MMAmania.com (http://www.mmamania.com)) has received the fighter payouts for UFC 88: “Breakthrough” from the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission for the pay-per-view (PPV) event held on September 6 from the Philips Arena in Atlanta.
And the former light heavyweight champion of the world, Chuck Liddell, cashed in big, raking in $500,000 large despite a vicious knockout loss courtesy of a thundering Rashad Evans overhand right. It was the third loss for the “Iceman” in his last four fights.
Evans, on the other hand, didn’t do too bad either, hauling in a nice $120,000 payday.
Former Pride FC middleweight and welterweight champion picked up a cool $250,000 for his first win inside the Octagon since 1998. And former 185-pound champion Rich Franklin wa rewarded with $100,000 for his move back up to the light heavyweight division.
Here are all the UFC 88 payouts:

Rashad Evans — $120,000 ($60,000 to show, $60,000 to win)
Chuck Liddell — $500,000
Evans defeated Liddell via knockout in round two
Rich Franklin — $100,000 ($50,000 to show, $50,000 to win)
Matt Hamill — $10,000
Franklin defeated Hamill via technical knockout in round three
Dan Henderson — $250,000 ($100,000 to show, $150,000 to win)
Rousimar Palhares — $7,000
Henderson defeated Palhares via unanimous decision
Nate Marquardt — $56,000 ($28,000 to show, $28,000 to win)
Martin Kampmann — $15,000
Marquardt defeated Kampmann via technical knockout (strikes) in round one
Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim — $46,000 ($23,000 to show, $23,000 to win)
Matt Brown — $8,000
Kim defeated Brown via split decision
Kurt Pellegrino — $24,000 ($12,000 to show, $12,000 to win)
Thiago Tavares — $13,000
Pellegrino defeated Tavares via unanimous decision
Tim Boetsch — $16,000 ($8,000 to show, $8,000 to win)
Mike Patt — $5,000
Boetsch defeated Patt via technical knockout (strikes) in round one
Jason MacDonald — $44,000 ($22,000 to show, $22,000 to win)
Jason Lambert — $17,000
MacDonald defeated Lambert via submission (rear naked choke) in round two
Ryo Chonan — $30,000 ($15,000 to show, $15,000 to win)
Roan Carneiro — $9,000
Chonan defeated Carneiro via split decision

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
For example, the UFC often hands out extra cash for “Fight of the Night,” “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night.” To check out these figures for UFC 88 .
The total base fighter payroll for UFC 88 was $1.27 million.

7000 voor palhares... dit mag wel omhooggeschroeft worden vind ik..

8000 en 10000 voor Hamill en Brown.. dat is ook niet veel, maar komt nog door het contract van de TUF dat ze hebben.
