Las Vegas, NV (USA) – For over 15 years, the Ultimate Fighting Championship® has been the gold standard for mixed martial arts (MMA), the leader in the world’s premier combat sport. So it is with great pride that the UFC® announces an event that will celebrate the past, the present, and the future of this organization. On Saturday, July 11th, Bud Light® will present UFC 100 live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it will be a night no fight fan will ever forget.
Featuring the premier athletes in the sport of MMA today, the UFC 100 fight card will be stacked with fighters who have carried on the legacy established by the greats of the UFC such as Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, and Mark Coleman, while building a foundation for the future warriors of the Octagon™.
And though the past 15 years have seen mixed martial arts evolve from spectacle to sport, one constant remains: UFC is As Real As It Gets®.
On July 11th, UFC 100 kicks off MMA’s next era.
Official bouts, ticket information and more details on UFC 100 will be announced in the near future.

Van Royce kijk ik niet zo op.. die kan nog wel een partijtje meerollen denk ik... Zijn laatste keer was een jaar of twee geleden tegen matt hughes (die won toen dik)...
Maar dan severn... damn.. dat wordt weer een gaaaaaaaaap partij... Coleman erin moet kunnen.. zal wel die partij tegen Stephan bonnar zijn).

vind het helemaal niet zo jammer! UFC 100 moet knallen, met alle respect voor hun prestaties in het verleden, maar ik zit niet te wachten op een veteranenbal....UFC 100 moet alleen maar toppartijen opleveren tussen vechters die in hun prime zijn!! gelukkig gaat het dat dus ook niet worden....wsl zullen er ontzettend veel oudgediende op de eerste rij zitten...

aardige line-up. Maar echt een 100ste jubileum waardig? Vind eigenlijk alleen de laatste 3 partijen giga.
Aan de andere kant wel te begrijpen want als alle toppers op die avond zouden vechten, wie laat je dan vechten op ufc 101, 102 en 103....
Toffe matchup... echt goed.. Maar zeker geen UFC 100 waardig...
Die card moet echt full stacked zijn van top tot teen...

De laatste 3 fights zijn natuurlijk fantastisch :D
Akiyama en Jones gaan hard pwnen :thup:
en Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago zou ook nog wel eens een brute match-up kunnen worden..
maar de rest zou net zo goed een UFN kunnen zijn
Moeten minimaal 2 wereld fights bij komen en iemand als Dustin Hazelett moet ook absoluut erop!!
Ben toch wat teleugesteld in de line-up...

Ben wel blij met deze fightcard. Misschien niet zo stacked als veel mensen gehoopt hadden. Maar in het verleden waren juist de 'minder' aansprekende fightcards het meest spectaculair.
Ik denk dat UFC er wel een leuk feestje van gaan maken! Trouwens.. als ze 5 championship fights zouden hebben dan valt alles wat erna komt tegen.
