About me
I started in 2004 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Holland. I trained in Brazil and in the USA several times with legends such as professor Ricardo De La Riva (BJJ) , muay thai & MMA trainer Artur Mariano, professor Marcos Barbosa (BJJ) and last but not least professor Fernando Yamasaki (BJJ).
In The Netherlands, my home country, I trained with Cadu Francis and Augusto Ferrari. Besides BJJ, Boca Vagner helped me with my mma skills. Unfortunately, they couldn't stay in the Netherlands. Today, Mathieu Peters (first Dutch black belt) and Remco van Baardewijk (European Champion 2008 purple belt) provide teaching classes in Holland. In the summer of 2005, 2006 and 2007 I went to Brazil to prepare for the world championships. In 2007 I became world champion BJJ in the blue belt division and world champion No Gi in the blue/purple belt division.
