WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=15844&cat=boxer) and two-division world champion Paul Williams (http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=20755&cat=boxer) ,along with their respective promoters, Todd duBoef and Dan Goossen, will host a news conference on Tuesday officially announcing their world middleweight title fight. Pavlik-Williams will take place December 5 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, and will be broadcast live on HBO. Pavlik (35-1, 31 KOs), from Youngstown, Ohio, who has been middleweight champion for nearly two years, will be making his third title defense. Williams (37-1, 27 KOs), from Augusta, Georgia, has twice held the WBO welterweight crown and is currently the WBO interim junior middleweight titleist.

Respect voor Williams die gewoon tegen de beste wil vechten in 3 verschillende gewichtklasses,hij deed het al heel goed tegen een altijd moeilijke Winky Wright op middelgewicht.
