Khalid Bourdif pakt Europese titel voor eigen publiek

Er zijn van die weekenden waar je als vechtsport liefhebber legio keuzes heb om van je favoriete sport te genieten. Ook het weekend van 24 en 25 oktober was er zo een waar overal in het land gala’s werden georganiseerd. Zelfs voor de buis kon je hart nog ophalen om op SBS 6 het grote Golden Glory gala te bekijken. En na het weekend was er dan nog een de grote K-1 MAX finale met onze landgenoot Andy Souwer die voor de titel gaat strijden.

Mixfight.nl streek zaterdag avond neer in Arnhem om een verslag te maken van “Enter the Dragon”. Promotor Radju Radesh organiseert al enkele jaren het “Enter the Dragon” gala in Valkenhuizen en mixfight.nl is altijd vaste klant om verslag uit te brengen van dit gala.

Deze avond wederom een line up van aankomend talent en veel vechters uit de regio van Arnhem. Het hoofdprogramma bestond uit vijf A-klasse partijen met als main event de Europese titelstrijd tussen Khalid Bourdif van KB Arnhem en de Duitser Tevfik Sucu van Fighting Temple.

WFCA Europese titel gevecht middengewicht

KHALID BOURDIF VS TEVFIK SUCU

Khalid Bourdif vocht voor eigen publiek om de Europese titel in het middengewicht van de WFCA. Tegenstander was de Duitser Tevfik Sucu. Een vervelend te bevechten tegenstander met een onorthodoxe vechtstijl. Sucu staat southpaw, oftewel rechts voor en komt veel met linkse middle en high kicks. Khalid heeft het hier even lastig mee en moet in zijn ritme komen. Maar eenmaal op toeren is er geen stoppen meer aan al blijft de linkse trap van de Duitser gevaarlijk. In de 2e ronde dreigt nog bijna de partij een anti climax te krijgen als Sucu niet verder kan vechten na een trap in zijn kruis. Gelukkig weet hij te herstellen en kan de partij verder. In de 4e ronde wordt de druk van Khalid te groot en valt het doek voor de Duitser. Khalid wint de Europese titel en viert dit verdiend met zijn aanhang.

Met de partij tegen Sucu had Khalid Bourdif een goede generale voor zijn partij om de wereldtitel van de WMC. Op 29 november staat Khalid voor de grootste uitdaging uit zijn carrière als hij het op Thaise regels opneemt tegen de Thaise beul Yodsaenklai Fairtex. Yodsaenklai is de wereldtitelhouder en de sterkste Thaise vechter die Thailand momenteel heeft in de zwaardere klasse in Thailand (zo’n 67 kg en zwaarder). Tegen Sucu kon Khalid een klein voorproefje nemen tegen een vechter die rechts voorstaat en met veel linkse trappen komt.

A – JEMYMA BETRAN VS MARIELA KRUSE

Jemyma en Mariela vochten de eerste hoofdpartij van de avond. En beide dames wisten een prachtige partij neer te zetten. In ogen van uw verslaggever de partij van de avond dit gevecht tussen beide dames. Beide dames zijn klein en licht maar dat zegt niets over de kracht die zij weten te produceren in hun stoten. Met name Jemyma beschikt over heel sterk bokswerk en heeft stoten met een power waarvan je eigen afvraagt waar ze die vandaan haalt. In het begin van de partij lijkt het er dan ook op dat Jemyma de buit snel binnen gaat halen. Maar Mariela is sterk en kan veel hebben en komt verder in het gevecht meer in de partij. Toch is het Jemyma die partij in handen houdt. Het tempo in deze partij is van het begin tot het einde hoog en beide dames gaan diep. Na vijf ronden wint Jemyma deze schitterende partij met als grote winnaar het publiek. Wij hopen dan ook snel beide dames weer aan het werk te zien.

VOORPRGRAMMA II

Na de pauze het tweede deel van het voorprogramma met vier partijen. Een beetje ongelukkig deel aangezien twee partijen een onbevredigend einde kende. Sergio Piqué (broertje van) verliest zijn partij op diskwalificatie nadat hij ruim voor op punten stond. Een trap kwam in het kruis van zijn tegenstander die niet verder kon vechten. Omar Khalifa heeft na een aantal seconden een arm uit de kom en kan ook niet verder vechten. Aangezien de partij net begonnen was me tegenstander Elvis Ajdarpasic eindigt deze in een No-Contest.

A – HARRY LODEWIJKS VS YOUSEF AHKNIHK

Zowel Yousef als Harry zijn vechters die garant staan voor actie en met iedereen en overall de ring in stappen. Zo stond Harry eerder dit jaar nog enkele ronden tegen de Thaise kampioen Saiyok Pumphangmuang op Thaise regels en Yousef nog steeds de enige Nederlander die het aandurfde om Buakaw Por. Pramuk op Thaise regels te bevechten. Beide gaan dan ook de 1e ronde stevig van start en zoeken elkaar gelijk op. Na de 1e ronde blijft Yousef de druk en het tempo opvoeren en dit begint zijn vruchten af te werken. Harry krijgt 8-tellen na een knie op zijn gezicht en even later weet Yousef met poeierharde leverstoot door te komen. Met de precisie van een Sniper gooit de hoek van Harry de handdoek die over het hoofd van Yousef valt.

A – MESUT DERIN VS ALEXANDER BROWN

Mesut komt uit tegen de Duitser Alexander Bown. Gelijk vanaf het begin zet Mesut de Duitser onder druk die zich daar duidelijk geen raad mee weet. Alexander komt nooit onder druk uit en moet al gauw 8-tellen nemen. Dit is echter het begin van het einde want mesut maakt het mooi af.

A - MOHAMMED ATIK VS ZAKARIA SEBBAR

Het duurt nogal even voordat deze partij kan beginnen. Mohammed, beter bekend onder de naam Taliban is verlaat op het gala aangekomen. Ook tijdens de opkomst is het een tijd wachten voordat hij er is. Hierna blijkt ook zijn bitje zoek te zijn. Maar uiteindelijk kan de partij beginnen. De partij speelt zich in een vrij laag tempo af met maar sporadische versnellingen. Taliban is vooral handig in het werpen uit de clinch. Keer op keer werpt hij Zakaria. In de loop van de partij krijgt Zakaria meer en meer last van en bloedende wond aan zijn gezicht. Uiteindelijk wordt de partij hierop gestopt omdat het bloeden te erg wordt.

Omdat Chris het verslag van Enter the Dragon maakte was dat voor mij de ideale gelegenheid om weer eens lekker te experimenteren met een aantal dingen die ik al een tijdje uit wilde proberen. Geen noodzaak of druk om een goed verslag online te zetten maar lekker vrijuit rommelen waarbij je gerust alle foto's weg mag gooien als het niet lukt :)

Weer een top prestatie van Khalid Bourdif. Ik heb overigens vernomen dat hij wil afvallen naar -70 om zo voor de K1 max in aanmerking te kunnen komen.

Begrijpelijk aangezien er in de -76 en -72,5 geen eer meer te behalen valt voor hem.

Ben trouwens erg benieuwd naar zijn match tegen Yodsanklai op het aankomende Slamm gala.

Ook cool om onze eigen Jarno aan het werk te zien. Je tilt die tegenstander van Pique toch maar ff op, terwijl die vent er niet echt licht uitziet haha.
Yep, dat was een grappig moment... Jarno die zo'n 100+ vechter op wilt tillen en laten vallen :D . Maar petje af voor Jarno; zoals je kunt zien kreeg ie 'm wel van de grond :cool2:


Denk dat die ene dame uit die N-partij de volgende keer wel een sportbeha i.p.v. een gewone beha aantrekt. Ze lagen er bijna uit ;)
Het was een leuke dame dus persoonlijk vond ik daar niets mis mee :pimp:
