Gewicht is afgesproken op -68kg
Lijkt me zwaar voor Buakaw om 68kg te halen. Hij ziet er al zo afgetraind en droog uit op 70kg.

Volgens mij cut hij niet. Hij weegt zonder aftrainen 68-69, en z'n management zei volgens mij ten tijde van de Yod-Buakaw fight dat hij nog -140 (-63.63 kg) kon halen.Quote:

Word nog interessant deze partij, zowel Pinca als Buakaw draaien top op dit moment.
Denk dat het niet Pajonsuk Superpro is maar Pajonsuk por Pramuk. Pajonsuk Superpro was volgens mij gestopt wegens gezondsheidredenen en Olivier Moriano weegt 57 kg. Meer gewicht van Pajonsuk Por Pramuk.

The fight of the Decade is signed! BUAKAW Por PRAMUK, K-1 champion and recently THAI FIGHT champion will face Fabio PINCA, former THAI FIGHT champion.
This fight will take place in FRANCE (in the city of Tours) on Saturday 17th of March.
For now BUAKAW Por PRAMUK and Fabio PINCA are certainly at the top of the top ten Muay Thai fighters.
BUAKAW Por PRAMUK has already won the K-1 World Max 2 times (2004, 2006) and the THAI FIGHT in 2011. For many Muay Thai specialists he has been the best fighter for ten years.
Fabio PINCA got the WBC world title in 2009 and also won the THAI FIGHT in 2010.
El Hadj MEKEDEM organized more than 20 events with many other great fighters.
Before this event, he wondered what fight he could bring to the Muay Thai Fans.

The two fighters agreed to fight under 68 kg (150 lbs) but Nasser KACEM, Fabio PINCA's coach ask for a weigh-in on the morning of the fight. Thus the two fighters will be at the same weight for the bout.
BUAKAW said: « Fabio is certainly one of the best Muay Thai Fighters on earth now, he defeated many thai fighters, he defeated by KO the Lumpinee champion BUT whatever he can do, as long as i am in Muay Thai the best ranking he can get is 2nd!

Fabio knows what BUAKAW said. He just said: « Im self confident, the best answer i can give will be the one in the ring »
We can say that Fabio is not so much in the show before the fight, but he is always very quiet. However he likes very much this kind of challenge. With his punch, he knows that he is able to end the fight at any time.
He showed many times in the past that he always enhances his level in that kind of situations.

The Buakaw Por. Pramuk vs. Fabio Pinca fight scheduled for March 17 in Tours, France under the La Nuit Des Titans banner has been cancelled.
Buakaw was injured and there also seemed to be a dispute between the leaders of the Por. Pramuk camp and Buakaw about the dismissal of his physical trainer. The French promoters tried to get a hold of Buakaw to no avail. He has not been seen or heard from since March 1. No one knows where Buakaw is or what his current status is with the Por. Pramuk camp after this debacle. Some have questioned if Buakaw just pulled out of the fight because of the -68kg weight limit.
Replacing Buakaw is arguably an even tougher opponent for Pinca, Aekpracha Meenayothin. Aekpracha is ranked #3 at Lumpine and #2 at Rajadamnern at welterweight. His last fight saw him score an impressive first round KO of Prakaysiang Kaiyanghadaogym.

Fighter Buakaw 'has disappeared'
Well-known Muay Thai boxer and former K-1 champ Buakaw Por Pramuk has mysteriously disappeared from his training camp and has not been seen since last week, his manager Teerapat Rojanatan said Friday.
Mr Teerapat said Buakaw, who won last year's welterweight Thai Fight grand final on points against Australia's Franki Giorgi, has been missing, along with his new BMW sedan, since March 1.
He said he was mystified and he did not know why the popular boxer would have left the training camp.
"Buakaw has never acted like this before, and as for the money issue, I've never left him unpaid. I always paid him.
"I want him back quickly. His disappearance will hurt him in the end because I've cancelled many of his events," said the manager.

Das ruk, had een erg mooie partij kunnen zijn!
Dat is idd erg zonde. Keek erg uit na die partij. Als die half zo een spektakel zou worden als Pinca tegen Bovy twee jaar terug in parijs zou het al gelijkt de partij van het jaar zijn.
Aikpracha is overigens ook een hele pittige vechter. Wereldkampioen bij de WMC momenteel. Hier zijn partij tegen Prakysiang (die oa eind verleden jaar nog van Yodsaenklai won in de finale van de isuzu cup en ook van Kem, Tanongdetch en Lamsongkram al eens wist te winnen):
