Nou, laatste episodes waren een beetje 'mixed' verhaallijnen, maar blijkt dus dat iedereen dood is nu. en dat ze allemaal weer bij elkaar komen in de 'hemel' (of wat het ook is). Dat monster vh eiland gaat ook in het lichaam van john locke, en hij gaat ook dood.

Het is trouwens "purgatory" Gerritt niet de hemel. Dus al die flash sideways van het laatste siezoen speelden zich ook af in purgatory (weet het nederlandse woord hiervoor niet echt).

Met dit idee hebben ze volgensmij de serie geschreven, maar dit is in de laatste seizoenen overboord gegooid, alles op het eiland is dus gewoon gebeurd......

First off the term "Purgatory" is really starting to ruin the image of LOST for those who didnt understand what really happened. To all of those who think they were dead on the island the whole time, they are wrong. The FLASH SIDEWAYS was what the term "purgatory" was refering to, if you remember in the flash sideways when they remembered all the things from their lives, alot was what happened on the island.

The flash sideways were a separate timeline for everyone who forged bonds together on the island, a place for them all to remember each other and move forwards, ONLY in the flash sideways. Christian Sheppard even told jack that he was dead now, and that some may have died before him and some will die after him but this is the place where they will all meet.

To further prove this point, take Hurley and Ben for example... Hurley becomes the #1 and Ben the #2. At the end Hurley says to Ben "you were a great #2 pal" meaning they had conscious memories of their life on the island after jack had died and everyone had left them to go back to the real world.

To conclude.....

Everything that happened on the Island HAPPENED, it wasnt all for nothing and they were alive the whole time. The flash sideways was purgatory or a way for the forgotten to remember the loved ones and to move on.

Het is al een beetje uitgelegd maar antwoord op al je vragen is nee. Het eiland was echt. De "flashsideways" die we in het laatste seizoen zagen moesten purgatory voorstellen. Vage shit inderdaad.

Wat ik zelf jammer vind is dat er neit wordt uitgelegd WAAROM het eiland "protected" moet worden, laat het gewoon zinken who cares? pff. Dom einde van een geweldige serie.

6 seizoenen min 2 afleveringen -> geweldige serie

en eigenlijk weet je nu nog steeds niet hoe het eigenlijk in elkaar zit....

Was ik teleurgesteld? Nee eigenlijk niet want ik zag zoiets vaags wel aankomen. Ik had 5 afleveringen voor het eind wel door dat niet alles afgesloten zou kunnen worden, en dat we afgescheept zouden gaan worden...

Ik vond het dus wel een beetje "makkelijk" van ze om zo afscheid van ons te nemen maar volgensmij hebben ze zichzelf in die positie gedwongen door het verhaal in een bepaald idee te schrijven en daar op in het laatste seizoen van af te wijken (dit idee heb ik tenminste). Maar daar staat tegenover dat deze serie mij 6 seizoenen zo heeft kunnen pakken zoals geen andere serie dit heeft gedaan, en daarom hou ik het zinnetjes About The Journey, Not The Answers in mijn achterhoofd, want wat een avontuur dat het was.

Heb je trouwens het 17 minuten durende extra filmpje "the new man in charge" al gezien? Worden nog wat vragen beantwoord. Staat als extra op dvd/blu-ray van seizoen 6.

kan ook niet zeggen dat ik spijt heb van het volgen van deze serie, is in mijn ogen echt een van de beste ever!
maar na afloop kreeg ik het idee dat ze zich er iets te amkkelijk vanaf gebracht hebben de schrijvers....maar aan de andere kant is het ook maar de vraag of een heel ander einde met allerlei beantwoorde vragen wel paste bij LOST, want het was toch vooral het 'vage' wat de serie ook weer boeiend hield....

misschien moet ik um nog een keer kijken wellicht dat ik het dan meer weet te waarderen, maar toen ie afgelopen was voelde ik me iig niet echt op m'n best iig

Je komt er achter waar die supply drop vandaag kwam, je komt erachter wat de ijsberen op het eiland deden (en nog meeromtrent verschillende dieren) en je komt er een beetje achter wat Hurley en Ben op het eiland gedaan hebben voor het eiland, nadat Hurley dus de nieuw Jacob word. Maar er blijven meer vragen open dan er beantwoord worden

interresant? een beetje, maar zeker de moeite van het kijken waard wanneer je alle andere afleveringen hebt gezien, het zijn maar 17 minuutjes....
