Daley had Josh tot het uiterste getergd met zijn fijne trashtalk, maar Josh zijn wraak is dubbel zoet .

Als je naar de herhaling kijkt raakte hij zijn arm , na zijn vechtcarriere zie ik kosheck wel in hollywood schitteren met bonjasky samen.

Ja dat gebeurde alleen niet in de UFC.. Dana geeft Gilbert een kans maar als hij zoiets ooit flikt in de UFC is t ook zeker over!
Dat t geen spectaculaire pot was oke maar ik hoef dit soort acties niet te zien! Hij heeft GVD net 3x5 minuten gehad om m op zn bek te slaan..

maar dit was niet in de ufc en als je die partij van Gilbert terug kijkt kan ik het enigzins begrijpen, helemaal na uitleg van Gilbert na de partij. Al wil ik het nooit goedpraten om een scheids te stompen, zelfs niet als het de trainer is van je tegenstander zoals bij Yvel.

ik vind het ook een goede actie van Dana om Daley te cutten, zulke acties moeten niet getolereerd worden.

Dat was jaren geleden, Gilbert heeft zich na die tijd keurig en respectvol gedragen.

Strakke actie. Sommige beslissingen moet je nou eenmaal nemen en dit is het beste voor de UFC. Vergeet niet hoe kwetsbaar ze zijn. Eeuwig zonde voor Daley, maar ja: eigen schuld dikke bult.

Uitzonderlijke domme actie. Wat je nog dommer eruit laat zien is dat je hem na de bel wanneer hij niet oplet vrij met je wel bekende linkerhoek mag stoten en dan nog krijg je hem niet ko...

Ik denk dat iedereen het er mee eens is dat dit gestraft moet worden. De zwaarte van de straf lijkt me eerder de discussie..

Dat vind ik toch weer te ver gaan. Oke het was dom, maar hij heeft zijn straf gekregen en dan hoeft hij niet nog een keer gestraft te worden.

Persoonlijk vind ik het echt veel te rigoureus. Ik zou hem op zijn minst 1 waarschuwing/kans geven.

Maar Dana probeert op dit moment mma legaal te krijgen in andere canadese streken (Ontario), dan kan hij niet in montreal aankomen met halfzachte maatregelen voor Daley.

British welterweight mixed martial artist Paul Daley has put out an apology to Josh Koscheck, the UFC, and MMA fans after throwing a punch at his opponent after their three-round contest was over on Saturday night in Montreal.
Dana White, the UFC president, had reacted immediately after the event that Daley would be cut from the UFC roster following his actions. Daley flew back to the UK, five hours after the event. After landing in the UK, he put out this statement.
I have also interviewed him. More to follow…
Daley said: “I’ve had a long flight home to consider my actions and regret the mistake I made on Saturday. I would like to apologise to the UFC and the Athletic Commission for what I’ve done as well as all the fans and sponsors that support me.”
“I would also like to offer my sincerest apologies to Josh Koscheck who did not deserve the cheap shot I threw. He did what he needed to do in order to win the fight and get the job done, and I foolishly reacted to the situation.”
“There is no excuse for my actions and I know what I did was very unprofessional. I was immensely frustrated by a collection of things that took place throughout the fight as well as leading up to it, but I’m certainly not trying to condone or excuse my actions.”
“Josh implemented his game plan perfectly taking me down and staying on top of me for the majority of the fight. I was also frustrated about him claiming (and acting like) I knee’d him in the head on the ground when it was clear for all to see in the video replay that I didn’t connect at all with the knee I threw.”
“Then finally, the verbal abuse Josh hit me with in the final 30 seconds of the fight simply pushed me over the edge and my frustrations came out as I knew I’d lost the fight, was unhappy with my own performance and had then been ridiculed by my opponent to top things off.”
“This is certainly no excuse for my actions; I fully deserve to be punished for what I did and hope that everyone I have disappointed can forgive my rash decision. I feel very disappointed in myself for losing my cool and hope that I am able to address my temperament and bounce back from this low point in my career.”
“I feel ashamed and embarrassed by what I did and hope that together my team and I can get through this issue. It will be a long road back from where I am now to earning the trust and respect of the UFC and the MMA fans that have supported me for so long, I know I’ve let you all down but I’m determined to make it up to you all.”

Dana moet wel na dat akkefietje tijdens SF. Ook zei hij dat Daley zn schouders ophaalde toen Dana vroeg of ie nog wel in de Ufc wilde vechten.

inderdaad ben ook wel benieuwd naar nate ! die was er ook bij betrokken.. ik zou die ook schrappen dan.. en inderdaad K-1 kom je met veel meer weg.. regels gelden niet voor iedereen daar, zelfde als dat ze juicen toelaten
