Ongelooflijk wat doet die Shamrock zichzelf toch steeds aan. Volgens mij heb ik hem al 10 jaar geen goede partij meer zien vechten. Hij had beter in retirement kunnen blijven, maar het geld zal wel lekker zijn.....

Impact FC staged another "Uprising" late Saturday night/early Sunday morning when it brought a cast of MMA notables to its July 18 pay-per-view from the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Australia.

Leading the charge "Down Under" was former UFC and PRIDE heavyweight Pedro Rizzo, bagging and tagging Ken Shamrock with little-to-no resistance.

People may find it kind of sad that Shamrock still competes well into his forties despite losing eight of his last ten bouts, but what's really sad is that after 17 years in the fight game, "The World's Most Endangered Man" is incapable of checking a leg kick.

"The Rock" coasted to a first round TKO -- and barely broke a sweat in the process.

Speaking of sweaty Brazilians, Paulo Filho put his weigh-in troubles behind him to face off against Denis Kang. Unfortunately the results were inconclusive as the fight ended in a split draw after three rounds of back-and-forth action.

UFC exile Paul Daley got back into the win column with a TKO victory over a very game Daniel Acacio. "Semtex" sliced his way to a verbal tap out in the third round after landing a nasty elbow from the Brazilian's guard.

In other action, Murilo "Ninja" Rua took a submission win over Jeremy May, Jesse Taylor forced Murilo Bustamante to call it quits and Glover Teixeira lit up Marko Peseli for a first round TKO stoppage.
