Some of the many amazing benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy are that it:

    - greatly increases oxygen concentration in all body tissues, even with reduced or blocked blood flow;
    - stimulates the growth of new blood vessels to locations with reduced circulation, improving blood flow to areas with arterial blockage;
    - causes a rebound arterial dilation, resulting in an increased blood vessel diameter greater than when therapy began, improving blood flow to compromised organs;
    - stimulates an adaptive increase in superoxide dismutase (SOD), one of the body's principal, internally produced antioxidants and free radical scavengers; and,
    - aids the treatment of infection by enhancing white blood cell action.

TOKYO -- Take an exclusive look inside the grueling training camp of top featherweight Michihiro Omigawa as he prepares to face Chad Mendes on Feb. 5 at UFC 126.

Omigawa will be making his return to the UFC after a two-year hiatus. In his time away from the Octagon, the Yoshida Dojo product has dropped down a division and has gone 8-2-1 while picking up wins over current top 10 featherweights Hatsu Hioki, Marlon Sando and Hiroyuki Takaya.

The Cut List: Who Desperately Needs a Win at UFC 126?

As former WEC fighters make their way into the UFC, it's make-or-break time for some of the men who have just barely been clinging to roster spots.
If you're a UFC lightweight with more losses than wins lately, you have to be looking over your shoulder and wondering how long you'll have a job now that there's suddenly a talent surplus in your division. If fighting in the UFC were like an office job, this is the point where you'd look up one morning and see a bunch of new hires standing around with cardboard boxes full of their stuff, sizing up your cubicle with their eyes.

Join me below as we take a look at the UFC 126 lineup and ask which fighters could find themselves out of work unless they can keep their place at the table with a victory on Saturday night.

    Paul Kelly (11-3, 5-3 UFC)
    Who he's fighting: Donald Cerrone
Why he's in danger: With a 2-2 record in his last four fights, Kelly has been consistently mediocre against mid-level UFC competition. Ordinarily his recent win over T.J. O'Brien might be enough to secure his spot, but 155 pounds is the wrong division to be an 'aiiiiight' kind of fighter in right now. With WEC imports flooding the roster, it's time to clean house in the UFC lightweight class to make room for the guys with a future in front of them. If Kelly can't stay relevant with a win here, he'll essentially be telling the UFC that he doesn't fit that description.
Odds of getting cut: 2-1. Cerrone is the favorite here, and if Kelly loses only the UFC's love of keeping British fighters around will save him.

    Gabe Ruediger (17-6, 0-2 UFC)
    Who he's fighting: Paul Taylor
Why he's in danger: The fact that Ruediger is still on the UFC roster seems more like a paperwork error than any endorsement of his skills. He got absolutely demolished by Joe Lauzon at UFC 118, washed out of 'The Ultimate Fighter' without ever stepping in the cage, and got beat up by Melvin Guillard in his only other UFC appearance. Yet somehow he's still here, while Gerald Harris got cut after going 3-1 in the Octagon. I guess no one ever said this business was fair. If it was, Ruediger would be on an MFC undercard right now and Harris would still have a job. But alas...
Odds of getting cut: Even. Taylor's not the toughest possible opponent here, but he's likely also fighting for his job (more on that in a moment). He's probably also just a tad better than Ruediger, who seems like he's taking up space in an increasingly crowded division.

    Paul Taylor (10-6-1, 3-5 UFC)
    Who he's fighting: Gabe Ruediger
Why he's in danger: Not only has he lost two in a row, he's lost three of his last four. Of the three people he has beaten in his unimpressive UFC tenure, not a one is still employed by the organization. Once again, if he were a heavyweight this might be no cause for concern. But in the lightweight division? With the former WEC guys breathing down your neck? You've either got to win some fights in a hurry or find a new place to work. Taylor is certainly a tough fighter, but tough isn't enough in this weight class anymore.
Odds of getting cut: 3-1. I like Taylor's chances to keep his job only because I think he should beat Ruediger without too much trouble. It's still not an easy fight, and Ruediger has displayed flashes of real talent (however inconsistently) in the past. But it's now or never for Taylor, and you have to think he knows it.

    Anderson Silva (27-4, 12-0 UFC)
    Who he's fighting: Vitor Belfort
Why he's in danger: Remember Dana White's vow to fire the champ if he goes out there and does the Abu Dhabi waltz again? Yeah, I don't buy it either, but imagine for a moment that Silva does slip back into open mockery mode as soon as he no longer has Chael Sonnen in his face to motivate him. Imagine he spends five rounds toying with Belfort, whipping the Vegas crowd into a fury on the eve of the most sacred American holiday – Super Bowl Sunday. What then?
Odds of getting cut: 40-1. White's heated and implausible threats aside, I don't even want to think about what Silva would have to do to really get himself released. If he refused to fight at all, then addressed the crowd in perfect English to tell them he no longer believes in violence or the pursuit of material wealth, all before ceremoniously burning the American flag in protest, then...maybe. Otherwise, he's safe. But who says we can't have some fun with the possibilities?

'KID' Yamamoto vs. Demetrious Johnson to Be Streamed Live on Facebook

The Twitter campaign worked. The UFC debut of Japanese star Norifumi "KID" Yamamoto this Saturday at UFC 126 will be streamed live on the UFC's Facebook page.

As a sign of just how stacked the UFC 126 card is, Yamamoto, once considered the best lighter weight fighter, managed to miss a spot on both the pay-per-view and Spike TV card. However, the fans spoke out on Twitter, asking UFC president Dana White to make the fight available in some capacity.

According to the UFC, the bantamweight fight will be streamed at 8:25 p.m. ET, followed by two preliminary bouts on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET. The pay-per-view begins at 10 p.m. ET.

Yamamoto, 33, holds a 18-3 record in MMA and last fought at Dream.14 in May 2010, knocking out his opponent in one minute and 41 seconds. 13 of his wins have been via (T)KO.

Yamamoto's opponent Demetrious Johnson, nicknamed "Mighty Mouse," is 8-1 and comes to the UFC after completing a 2-1 stint in the WEC. Johnson is coming off the biggest win of his career, a guillotine submission win over Damacio Page at WEC 52 last November.

Vitor Belfort Says Anderson Silva's Demeanor Is Motivating Him

LAS VEGAS -- Vitor Belfort has officially made it all the way back to the UFC, fighting for the title on Saturday night against Anderson Silva at UFC 126. MMA Fighting talked to "The Phenom" on Thursday about leaving the organization in 2005, their staredown on Wednesday and what he expects to see from Silva come fight night.

Anderson hyped het gevecht alleen, zelfs Vitor zegt dat, en dat Anderson een goed hart heeft.

Waarom dan een hekel hebben aan Anderson? :P

    UFC 126 Weigh-In Results

LAS VEGAS -- Fight week has evolved into a mega-event feel. The intensity between main event participants Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort in the middleweight championship match is palpable, there are stars on the card like Forrest Griffin and Rich Franklin, and the buzz around Jon Jones is hard to miss. Continuing the momentum, Friday's UFC 126 weigh-ins at the Mandalay Bay Events Center were packed, thousands of fans making sure not a single seat went unfilled.

Silva and Belfort gave the fans a preview of what's to come, engaging in one of the most intense staredowns in UFC history before exchanging words and eventually being separated by UFC personnel.

Silva, playing on Belfort's recent assertions that he "wears a mask," in putting on a different persona to intimidate his opponents, took the words literally, wearing a white mask and going nose-to-nose with Belfort before ripping it off and exchanging some words with the former UFC light-heavyweight champion. He and Belfort heatedly went back and forth, with both refusing to back down until being pulled apart.

Both fighters weighed in at the middleweight championship limit of 185 pounds.

Coming off perhaps his career-defining performance in a thrilling comeback win over Chael Sonnen, Silva faces the powerful striker Belfort in a match that is being called the "Fight of the Century" in their home country of Brazil.

"Yesterday I said he wore a mask," Belfort said. "I know him, he's a good man but in the fight he tries to impress and make the fighters afraid of him. That's what he wants, that's not what's going to happen."

Silva, who got a mostly positive reception at his introduction, was booed loudly after the exchange.

"It's no secret what I said," said Silva, who has a UFC record 12-fight win streak. "Vitor talked a lot. You came here to watch a show. That's what you're going to see is a show."

In the co-main event, a smiling Forrest Griffin weighed 205 for his comeback fight after a 15-month hiatus following shoulder surgery. Griffin will be facing former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin, who checked in at a light 203 pounds.

Both men are coming off wins. Griffin outworked Tito Ortiz is a split decision at UFC 106, while Franklin essentially retired Chuck Liddell after knocking him out at UFC 115.

In another highly anticipated fight, Jones (206) outweighed Bader (205) by a single pound in a light-heavyweight bout between a pair of rising stars.

Mike Pierce was the only fighter to miss weight on the stage, but MMA Fighting has confirmed Pierce cut the extra pound and officially weighed in at 171 after the televised weigh-ins concluded.

    Main Card
Anderson Silva (185) vs. Vitor Belfort (185)
Forrest Griffin (205) vs. Rich Franklin (203)
Ryan Bader (205) vs. Jon Jones (206)
Jake Ellenberger (171) vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha (170)
Antonio Banuelos (136) vs. Miguel Torres (136)

    Preliminary Card
Paul Kelly (155) vs. Donald Cerrone (155)
Chad Mendes (146) vs. Michihiro Omigawa (146)
Demetrious Johnson (136) vs. Kid Yamamoto (135)
Gabe Ruediger (155) vs. Paul Taylor (156)
Kyle Kingsbury (205) vs. Ricardo Romero (205)
Mike Pierce* (171) vs. Kenny Robertson (170)

*Pierce weighed in at 172 on stage, but eventually made the required weight at 171.

Heb helemaal geen hekel aan Anderson hoor. Alleen hij hyped wel vaker en dan komt er weer zon zielige vertoning in de ring... Maar heb zeker respect voor Anderson zeker weten Maar hoop gewoon dat Vitor wint.
