Wat een bullshit, is dat ook de rede dat hij bij de K1 3 partijen heeft gedraaid en uiteindelijk het toernooi heeft gewonnen? Is dat de rede dat hij zowel mma wereldkampioen is als kickboxing wereldkampioen?

Duffee heeft een goed record, ook heeft hij de snelste k.o van de ufc en deed het niet slecht tegen Nelson.
Duffee heeft Cojones en vind het nog een eer om tegen een kampioen te vechten.
Anders als andere die bedragen vragen waarbij zij weten dat het niet doorgaat, zo hoeven niet te zeggen dat ze eigenlijk niet durven.
Ik heb alleen maar respect voor Duffee!

Todd Duffee moet zeker niet onderschat worden, zijn enige verliespartij was hij aan het domineren maar verloor uiteindelijk op KO, zover ik weet heeft hij nooit tegen Roy Nelson gestaan.

Door zijn verliespartij kon Dana hem aan de kant zetten (contractueel) omdat hij zijn houding niet goed vond. Maar destijds in de UFC werd hij wel gehyped als één van de kampioenen voor de toekomst..

After winning the K-1 WGP on his second attempt while continuing his MMA career, DREAM had a tough time finding an opponent willing to fight him on DYNAMITE!! Everyone contacted turned the offer down, until one man sought out The Reem himself.
Ex-UFC fighter Todd Duffee was present today in Tokyo at a press conference to announce the bout. "I'd like to clarify one thing. I asked my manager for this fight. I had heard that (DREAM) were having trouble finding an opponent, and that many people had turned down the fight," he said. He went on with, "Every fight is a risk. It was a chance to fight a great opponent and to fight in Japan. I'm not here to have a padded record or anything; I just want to see what I can do. This was a good chance to do that against a great name."
Visibly happy, Alistair Overeem said, "I'm glad DREAM found an opponent for me. I'm sure Todd is motivated to put on a good show. I hope we can put on a great fight."
Whether or not this will be for a strap is still undecided. Officials within DREAM will be holding a meeting tonight to decide if they can actually make this bout for the Interim Heavyweight Championship or not. The stumbling block is that the fight is currently set for 3 rounds, each of 5 minutes. Official DREAM rules now have title fights with an opening round of 10 minutes, followed by 2 rounds that are 5 minutes.
"I will wait and see what DREAM decides. I think Todd is ready to put on a hard fight, and he has a great record (in UFC) so far, so a title fight is possible. I do know once I have the belt I will defend it. Anyone is welcome to come here and challenge me, and I will fight absolutely anyone to defend it," said a pumped up Overeem. An announcement will be made tomorrow.
Additionally, the rules were made official for the IGF Rules bout between Bob Sapp and Shinichi Suzukawa, as well as those for the bout between Aoki Shinya and Yuichiro "Jienotsu" Nagashima.
The IGF bout will use standard DREAM rules with one exception. Strikes with a closed fist will be illegal. Only open handed strikes will be allowed.
Aoki Shinya and Yuichiro "Jienotsu" Nagashima's bout will start using kickboxing rules. There will be no clinch allowed, and 3 downs within a round will be considered a TKO. This round will last for 3 minutes. The second round will be a standard 5 minute DREAM rules bout. Both rounds will be fought using official DREAM open-finger gloves. In the case where there has been no winner via (T)KO or submission in regulation time, the bout will be considered a draw.
