Gegard Mousasi vs. Mike Kyle, which was originally supposed to happen back on April 9, is likely for Strikeforce's upcoming Sept. 10 event, according to Heavy.com.
These two were initially set to square off for the right to determine the number one contender to the light heavyweight throne; however, Kyle broke his hand and was forced out of action.
Mousasi went on to a date with UFC veteran Keith Jardine. Had he won, he may have been in line for a shot at the 205-pound strap. Instead, they fought to a draw and the division is just as cloudy as ever.
Look no further than the champion of said division, Dan Henderson, accepting a heavyweight fight against Fedor Emelianenko for evidence of this fact.
That said, if everyone can make it to September healthy, Strikeforce might finally find a legitimate challenger to "Hendo's" title.

Van mij mag deze partij wel door gaan. Mike is een lastige tegenstander maar Gegard gaat deze wedstrijd winnen.

Kan en mag ik dan ook stellen als jouw held Overeem serieus getraind had dan kon hij Werdum wel de baas op de grond en winnen met een klem / verwurging of Ground&Pound... Want zo werkt het in jouw belevenis wereld...
Elke partij is er een .. en wie weet is Gegard nu over zijn periode van over traint zijn heen en kan fris aan de start.
En volgens mij is Gegard aardig genaaid met de beslissing in de pot tegen Jardine.
