Strikeforce Challengers was back with their twentieth offering, and the final of the series in 2011, with an under-hyped card featuring solid talent including undefeated competitors like Matt Ricehouse and Derek Brunson, as well as bout between top female contenders Julia Budd and Ronda Rousey and promotional veteran Antwain Britt making his middleweight debut.

The action was fast and furious on the main card with four first-round finishes including a grotesque submission from rising star Rousey who snapped Budd’s arm to maintain her perfect record. After the bout she promptly called out Sarah Kaufman, hoping to take her slot in an eventual title-fight with bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.
