Jake Ellenberger vs. Martin Kampmann Slated for TUF Live Finale

Jake Ellenberger will meet Martin Kampmann in a five-round main event at the TUF Live Finale on June 1, UFC officials announced.

The welterweight clash could very well produce the next No. 1 contender in the 170-pound division after champion Georges St-Pierre and interim champion Carlos Condit unify the belts later this year.

The TUF Live Finale, which will also feature the finals of the 15th season of The Ultimate Fighter, will air live on FX and is expected to take place in Las Vegas. No venue has been announced for the event, thus far.

Ellenberger (27-5) most recently defeated Diego Sanchez via unanimous decision last month, while Kampmann (19-5) submitted Thiago Alves with a guillotine with just 48 seconds remaining in their UFC on FX 2 fight earlier this month.

The UFC announced three new fights added to the The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale fight card.

Jonathan Brookins, season 12 winner of 'The Ultimate Fighter', will face Charles Oliveira. Brookins enters this bout having stopped Vagner Rocha via strikes in the first round at UFC on FUEL TV 1. This is Oliveira's second bout at featherweight. He won his debut via cafe slicer in the first round over Eric Wisely at UFC on Fox 2.

The UFC announced another featherweight bout: Max Holloway vs. Pat Schilling. Holloway lost his UFC debut by submission to Dustin Poirier at UFC 143. Pat Schilling enter this bout also having lost his UFC debut to Daniel Pineda at UFC on FX 1.

Last, but not least, Byron Bloodworth - who lost his UFC debut to Mike Easton at UFC on Versus 6 - will take on John Albert. The Canadian Albert looks to rebound after losing to Ivan Menjivar at UFC on FUEL TV.

The finale for TUF: Live is scheduled to take place June 1 at the Palms Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is headlined by a five-round, number-one contender's bout between Martin Kampmann and Jake Ellenberger.

wat een heerlijke kans voor kampmann om wat dingen recht te zetten want het is de meest onderschatte vechter in de WW divisie en heeft al 10 wins in de UFC en 3 losses op WW, waarbij ik moet zeggen dat zowel Shields en Sanchez onterecht hebben gewonnen van deze Kampmann, overigens kampmann,ellenberger,condit etc. etc. leuke namen allemaal maar zit toch eigenlijk alleen op GSP vs Diaz te wachten maar dat zit er voorlopig niet in. blijft zonde al die omstandigheden wat er gaande is bij sommige vechters
