In 2007 I first attended a Core Combatives seminar by Mick Coup. From the first second I was hooked: I filled a full book with notes, principles and comments. I have never seen such a simple, well thought-out and honest(!) method of self-protection before, even though I have practiced several martial arts, like kickboxing, krav maga and BJJ.

Mick has completely changed my view of personal self-protection, for the better. This system is not for everyone though, only for people who are willing to have their eyes opened regarding 'self-defense'. Expect a very interesting and educational seminar, which at least will make you aware of the realities of violence.

Ideally, I suggest attending the 2 full days. But if the maximum number of participants for day 1 is reached, I highly recommend attending day 2!
