K-1 is proud to announce the finals of the K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 series, the K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 FINAL 8. The previous event, K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 Final 16 was held on May 27th of this year in Madrid, Spain.

K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 FINAL 8 will be held at the Olympic Indoor Sports Center OAKA in Athens, Greece on Saturday, December 15th, 2012.

The 8 chosen finalists from K-1 WORLD MAX 2012 Final 16 in Madrid will compete in a one day tournament for the grand prize of $300,000. The runner-up will receive $100,000, and two second runner-ups $50,000 each for a total cash prize of $500,000.
