When life gets tough...
Put on your boxing gloves
Leuke interviews thanks
Hoop zoooo dat beiden winnen!!! Can't wait!
Like Yvel says: Train with the will to die!!
Zo hoort het, respect
Usually, a fighter doesn't want anything to do with his opponent in the days leading up to their fight, preferring to stay as far away from him/her as possible.
And as we've seen in the past -- on more than one occasion -- things can get a little hectic when future opponents get too close for comfort.
But in the case of Ronaldo Souza and Gegard Mousasi, not only can the two men be very cordial with one another, they can actually work hand-in-hand to shed the final few pounds in order to hit their mark come weigh-ins.
During a recent interview with FOX Sports, "Jacare" said he and Gegard have a very good friendship outside of the Octagon. A friendship so close that the Brazilian would even help the Armenian make weight for their upcoming main event fight, which is set to go down this Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, from Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Ledyard, Connecticut.
After all, it's not the first time he would be doing it, prior to punching him in the face:
"In Japan, I helped him to cut weight and after that I fought Mousasi on the same day. That's part of the sport. If he needs help this fight cutting weight, I will help him again no problem. We are friends out of the Octagon and we fight inside the Octagon. That's part of the sport. A few months ago, Mousasi was here in Brazil and we had lunch together. We're friends and that's just part of the sport."
"I remember that I felt very good in that fight. I was in a position that I like a lot, being a bull on the ground. I felt so comfortable in that position and Mousasi made that move with the kick and after that I was more alert on that move. I hope it won't happen again."With a win, Souza hopes UFC will consider him as the true No. 1 contender in the middleweight division and give him the winner of UFC 181's middleweight title fight between current champion, Chris Weidman, and Vitor Belfort.

Fighting is poetry in motion

Iemand suggesties???
Het wordt een uurtje later!
The main card of UFC Fight Night 50 will air at 10 p.m. ET, not the previously announced 9 p.m. ET, and will feature four fights, not the originally announced six.
Nik Lentz vs. Charles Oliveira and John Moraga vs. Justin Scoggins have both been moved to the FOX Sports 1 Prelims which start at 7 p.m. ET.
Live uiteraard.
